The point that the rational people in the thread are trying to make is that it's about odds. It would be great if we all lived in the perfect utopian society that you do Cartalas, where every citizen was a good samaritan/vigilante, but that's not the reality. I don't know how it is in the midwest, so I won't generalize, but here in LA you're far more likely to get shot if you see a mob of people attacking an individual than you are to 'make a difference'. Obviously, you have to take it on a case by case basis, but if me wanting to be alive to call the police, instead of getting shot makes me a coward, then so be it. If the numbers were more favorable, or if it were my life or my families/friends in danger, I'd react like a caged tiger, and I would maim and kill whomever stood in my way.

I've had enough training to do that, but I avoid situations that would put myself or others in harms way, and I've not had to fight in anger in over 10 years. Hopefully I never will have to.

Poland is a pretty lawless place right now, where you are more likely to face organized crime than anywhere outside of the former USSR. It's fairly common to sit at a red light and have somebody point a gun at your head for the car, it happened to some people I know from back home. The regard for human life is bellow 0, and they wouldn't think twice about killing you if they felt like it. The cops? Half of them are paid off, the other honest half is overworked. It's a pretty damn bad situation.

Kwon, for the record, the 'rapist' allegation has come from Atokal, specifically, though Furor did throw that out at least one time for reasons unbeknownst to me. They're completely unfounded. I've never raped anything in my life nor do I plan to.

The 'racist' allegation is based on comments that both Atokal and Cartalas have made in recent posts here on VV. Funny that Atokal claims not to be a racist, but has yet to apologize for uttering the slur.

From the 6 or 7 people I talked to yes the Cyber Rapist thing does have some merit. I even had one guy tell me he was logged in as a girl character and Aranuil started to cyber him when the person said he was playing the girl Aranuil quickly said " I knew that I was messing with you".

I dont know what Aranuil is looking for from the pictures I have seen he seems to be a decent looking guy of course the girls in the office say wheres the beef when they saw the Speedo Pic. He looks like he wouldnt have a problem picking up the poon but hey maybe he has bad breath,Body odor or a personality that could curddle milk.

Let me say that I DO NOT THINK ARAUNIL is a RL RAPIST but I do think he has a serious cyber problem.

I lived in Irvine for a very brief period of time (8 months if that) around the release of Ultima Online. I would estimate it was somewhere in the neighborhood of '95-96. I didn't know any of my neighbors at the time, and I moved back to the Calabasas area shortly after.

I have no idea who Gary or Ira are.
