anyone else in this besides me?

i'm really enjoying the newbie game so far...graphics are better than anything else in the mmorpg area of gaming atm

models are awesome, animations are awesome...lot of buggy korean text still mixed in with the english on some npc given quests...but closed beta just started, so i'm not complaining

my fighter goes by the name Trias if any of you are in beta send me a tell and i'd be glad to help you through the beginner mage or fighter quests

I played the korean beta and got to level14 or 15, hehe.
Was pretty fun even though you didn't understand any quests/text etc :
Graphics are amazing and gameplay is pretty damn fun.
I played a mage and you could solo really well once you got Snare/IceNuke.

I also played a female and you could see teh cameltoe :~(

Yeah I played the korean beta for a bit. It seemed to be to be more of a panty shot simulator than a MMORPG, but I guess in Korea it could be both.

i got into closed beta from being at a presentation of lineage 2 by some NCSoft reps at my company conference

i can probably get a few more of you in if you pm me your email address...i've gotten a friend and a guildmate into it already

the application is VERY strange and specific in what you do with it...have to follow it to a T.

isn't really an application, but moreso an acceptance letter and agreement of not breaking the NDA and stuff

the beta crew is away till jan 2nd...and closed beta is seriously lacking enough people in it atm, so i think that ncsoft will be doing a recruitement wave soon

also open beta should be up for apps in another month and starting a couple weeks after the apps are in

release is tentatively slated for april 28th i believe

ok just finished emailing all of you...so far i believe only one other has gotten in the way listed in my email to you; mainly because the beta team is away till january 2nd for the holidays

just do as the email directs and you should be set either jan 2nd or a day or two afterwards i'm assuming

*again* remember that they are not around till jan 2nd so stop emailing me about when you will be accepted or not haha...JAN 2 they are back!!

i also know for sure that they will be wanting to recruite a lot more people for the closed beta, since it's such a small community

hope you all get accepted, i'm sure you'll enjoy it even if only because it's a deviation from what you normally play ^^

more features like that would eliminate the need for the oversexed, overweight slobs who never log off this game the need to browse for porn. Just find the nearest elven character wearing the mini skirt & halter top, or depending on mood, garder belt & see thru panties. Then whack away! Once done, they can just towel off, and resume playing.

I made a dark elf bondage queen named kyoukan, but I might make another charactr since I'm finding it difficult to flash my panties when I'm not wearing any.

The game is actually kind of fun if you aren't into much more than monster bashing and levelling. I doubt it will ever have anything remotely resembling trade skills or a deep questing system, but if the PVP is fun then who really cares. The fights are a bit too easy but they are fun to watch.

kyo...there is actually an entire race and class that surrounds tradeskills and their useage...Dwarves

no one in beta seems to be playing dwarves, because there aren't enough people around to support a player run economy, off which the dwarf race thrives

the korean open beta they had really had a nice economy going for a bit

the PvP is the most addicting there is supposedly, but time will tell i guess

i've received a LOT more private messages about getting into the Beta after some saw that it is working i guess hah...please give me a few days to see if i can get any more people in...there is NO sign up sheet, if i can get you in, you will get an email from me like the others did...there is a second phase of closed beta comming up in like two weeks; where they will be basically patching the game for better graphics detail on many things as well as fixing a LOT of bugs

keep in mind, we are currently testing the beta that the koreans had 10 months ago...there is an actual finished nearly bug free game being played in korea

i'm really confused why they gave us the earliest beta version, but we shall see what they make of it *shrug*...the GM's seem VERY cool so far, very interactive and helpful...they even bumped a few people i know in levels and helped them obtain skills from bugged masters ^^

the REAL PvP consists of seige wars...and these don't really get into depth untill the high end game...the korean live server is yet to have many blood pacts doing them yet

blood pacts are small like guilds...20 members...the idea is to form a blood pact with uber folks like yourself, then you ally yourself with other uber blood pacts and form an army and take over stuff...it really is neat...NCsoft demo'd some really cool seige footage for us back in september

this game can get VERY cut throat if it's anything like the original Lineage which actually sprung up a very good number of IRL PK's in korea

the higher the level of armor on female characters, the less they appear to be wearing...but look past that, the game has a LOT to it if you level up a lot and see some of the cooler stuff as you travel

last night for the first time i attacked something quite a bit harder than me, figuring i could take it by just chaining my power moves and soul shots...i was wooping this beefed up orcs ass hardcore, then it said "we will see about that!", and it ran off and came back with 5 more orcs haha...i got away barely

I need leet stratz

Is there a manual or something online I can see? What buttons are there besides the one that brings up the inventory and hte one that brings up the status screen? Is there like an auto run or something? Why do I heal so fucking slowly when I'm sitting and how can I speed it up? How come I never get any loot but coins 99.9999% of the time? Where can I get some leather armor that wont cost me 10,000 gold because I only have 900? Mobs are kicking the crap out of me now and I don't have any armor or money to buy some. are there quests for some armor?

well, at around level 5-6 they all start dropping about 80 gold a piece. the imps are known to drop a bunch of loot, i got a 2k necklace off of one earlier today. so hunt imps orcs and goblins and you should be ok, i have about 12k on me and i just got level 10. they really do need a manual, i had to shout (only chat command i knew at the time) like a n00b to figure out the rest of the commands. this beta would be going 4591 times more smooth for me if they had an actual beta website instead of that retarded half assed ask jeeves thing they have now.

and the movement controls still suck my ass

Haha I like that. It's touches like that that gives a game character. D cups with 23 inch waists do not hurt either I guess.

The controls for this game suck ass. If I want to move, I want to be able to tell my character in which direction to move with arrow keys. I don't want to point and click off in the horizon, hoping he'll head in that direction.

Is there a log or something for what NPC's tell you?

The graphics are pretty good and my system doesn't seem to mind them either.

ok I just bought a bow and spent some SP on the special bow attack. It's pretty nice to be able to use that huge bow attack and then switch to my sword and follow it up with the power hit. I can kill things a lot faster now, but now I have to stop and regen mana for my specials instead of hit points.
