Oh for fuck's sake. I'm just waiting for the news piece on the kid who kills a bunch of Haitian's and blames it on GTAVC. Then they "might" have something to backup a lawsuit.

That was pretty much my feeling on it, this is basically an empty gesture. I'm sure they've already got plenty of the original copies out in the stores, and I can't imagine that there are going to be a large number of people who will still be buying this game more than two christmas' after it was released.

If anything, they did this just to get people out buying more copies of the original in the coming weeks, so they don't "miss out" on something.

I too beat the game like a year ago, but I object on principal to the game being censored based on a special interest group with a totally skewed view of what's going on in the game. The fact that places like little Haiti, and Haitian gangs do in fact exist kind of leads me to believe Rockstar was going for a realistic city, not racism.

Nevermind the fact that we're talking about a game that features murder, carjacking, mass slaughter of police, innocents, etc.

Edit: Sentence structure is HARD.

Why dont game creators just steer clear of involving over-sensetive race groups in their games. Either that, or just use the Scottish! At least we have a fucking sense of humor about our race/ethnical generalized assumptions.

The game makes fun of every race, if they were obviously prejudice toward one race this crap may have some credibilty. Like if missions were called 'exterminate the niggers' or some such, I could understand. But this game is just pure fun and sillyness. People who take this shit so seriously are the problems, not the games themselves. These people think that the games are a problem, when in reality the games were never a problem until they turned it into a problem. They search for problems and kindle hatred that was never there before. Many people just don't understand satire/cynical humor. I hate dumb people.
