Judgement Day is only a matter of time!

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

My programming teacher has been raving about these guys all last quarter. He loves robots and loves to talk about them for the first hour of class every week. Apparently it takes a lot of computing power and memory for a robot to even stand on one leg or jump. Those bots in that video were programmed for that dance, but they were synchronizing their moves based on what the other bots were doing (you can see them look at each other). In another clip, you see a robot fall down, get right back up, and pick up where the other bots are at in the dance.

I get the impression that creating human-like robots has seized the Japanese imagination the same way the space race captivated Americans a generation ago.

Personally, I won't pay attention until one of them can transform into a working automobile or jet fighter.
