Looks like I'll be moving to Seattle. I was just trying to get some relevant info besides the generic stuff that can be found on the net.
What part of town should I try to move to?
How is the economy lately and so forth and so on.
How is Seattle?

Seattle is probably my favorite major city in the USA, and I've been to a lot of them. It does rain quite a bit (it's not as bad as the jokes though), but overall the climate is very nice, as is most of the west coast from Vancouver Island on down.
Seattle just seems more cultured and friendlier than a lot of cities in the USA. I probably like it so much because it is so much akin to Vancouver. The people are nicer, and I don't walk down the street at night clutching my stun gun and wondering how many times I am going to get mugged/raped/assaulted/killed. I think the population is overall more educated and well off financially than most cities, but I don't have any statistics to prove that. It helps being in such close proximity to so many tech industries without having a government as corrupt and worthless as California.
I would live in Seattle.

Seattle is a nice place to live, as to job's well it is getting tuff to find a Tech job and Boeing is still laying off people. The Machinists vote today on a contract from Boeing and they could be striking by Midnight. Teachers here don't make shit for money some of them are on strike. Besides that the Puget Sound area is a Great place to live. The Rainy season seem long and they are but you will get use to it.
