The Sims Online -- Brothels?

Post by noel »

Just saw this interview, and I'm laughing my ass off. There are some seriously fucked up people playing MMOGs. Language is kind of graphic, and probably NWS (no images though). I didn't even know people still played that game -- I don't see the draw. At any rate, apparently this person was an in-game madame. This is pretty fucked up...

I would have posted it there, but it's more of a social issue than a game issue. The story is really about a freak, not about the game itself.

What the hell? rofl.

I'm tempted to buy into this to just see how an online "living" game actually works, comapred to the competition of EQ, where you ally for a cuase.. and usually not to give head.

Umm excuse me?

Just because we had people dumb enough to fall for that shit even to the point of sending the stupid fucker money, and it pissed me off we let his dumb ass stay in CT, does not mean I had any interest in it.

Hell that was one of the deep dark secrets of CT, now everyone can know.

We had a paladin pretend to be a pregnant teen female to extract money from dumb teenage males in the guild. I protested when it was all found out, and was told we were keeping the con artist because they came to a lot of raids.

Made me sick of my guild and my officers when they made that choice. Now how it relates to anything in the threa is beyond me, but since Xzion brought it up may as well cover it.

Of course such things pale next to what happened in some other guilds, so if we want to we can dicuss the rape that occured at a Fan Faire by a guild leader on a guild member. But I promised I would not tell anyone how you were fucked in the ass Xzion, I am sorry you had to experience such a thing, but that was before you were in CT.

To fill in the rest of the population. Dakamura was the loser that posed as a 14 year old girl and then claimed to be pregnant needing money for the abortion. Fucked with several people in CT.

I'm fuzzy here.

Was Dakamura that asshat female dwarf? I have vague recollections of attempting to lead a teen-level Dakamura (decked out in bronze armour?) from Freeport to Unrest, since I had little better to do. I think that was one of the most aggravating experiences of my time playing EQ.

I dunno. There's a chance I may have the wrong person, though.

It was annoying as hell, we were going to raid, we needed a Paladin for their worthwhile buff, and druids for transport, but it appears Daka liked to rope in the druids worst of all so they were all offline and whining. It really sucked, we had drama flowing from every corner, and the utterly inept and painfully dumbass decision was made by guild leadership to let the loser stay in the guild.

You know what, it still pisses me off that we let someone victimize members of the guild and stay in the guild. Especially when one of the druids they victimized was a decent human being who had been a long time guild member. My only hard on for that player was hoping that a fucking mack truck would hit the ignorant fucker, as a matter of fact, I would still celebrate the horribly painful death of that individual. Daka is a criminal and I have zero pity for criminals.

Christ, I just wanted phat lewt and had to hear about all this bullshit for weeks. It was the only time I ever truly wished that I had gone a different route in game, and chosen another guild.

I believe the penalty was no loot for a month...problem with that was Daka had already whored enough loot in the previous month that he'd be minus eleventybillion points if CT used a DKP sysem back then. Daka ended up being awarded more loot even before the 30 days was over so obviously the officers cared less. Point is Daka didnt deserve any loot for several months so basically got off scott free.

So the penalty in CT for faking being a 14 year old pregnant girl and trying to get real money from guild members for an abortion = about 3 weeks of no loot after being showered with loot the previous months.

An immediate foot to ass solution should have been applied to the situation.

Anyone dumb enough to believe even half they hear online to be true, deserves to have their money taken. Dakamura may have done something completely assholic, but the people sending this random slutty 15 year old girl who they have not met nor have seen (Girls Gone Wild pictures = reel 15 year old gurl!) deserved to lose money if they believed that bullshit story. They would have been better off sending em a clothes hanger anyway, its re-useable.

I'm not so sure that anybody who goes out of their way to to be charitable to somebody they scarcely know really deserves to be fucked over. I mean, carry that train of thought out to its logical conclusion and see just how callous and silly it sounds. Were they being naïve? Sure. It's naïve to send financial aid anywhere without knowing precisely where it's going and what it's being used for, but it's not a crime.

Fraud, on the other hand, if proven - is.

It is the same thing as giving "bums" on the street money. Who the hell knows where it is really going or if they really need it. There are many who make quite a profit off leaching money from people. I am not saying people should not try to help out other people, but at least with the bum on the street you visually see them. It is a real thing right in front of you. But just reading text...well it is not the same. Cry me a river, please, then drown yourself in it.

I've got to step in and call you a fucking idiot Nilaman. Daka should have been booted immediately. The fact that you think losers trying to take money from your guildmembers is a hoot tells me you'd take joy in fucking your mother. They are directly connected. I don't dislike you but I wouldn't mind seeing you accidentlly swallow your tongue after OD'ing on a belly full of Daka's cum.

Winnow, remove your head from your ass and read what I said again. I never said Daka should not have been booted. I would not think twice about booting anyone who pulled shit like that.

I did not say I thought it was a hoot either. It is horrible to do things like that. But there are people out there that do such a thing. They continue to do it because other people believe their sob stories and try to help out. Once the person who tried to help out learns he/she was lied to then they bitch and moan. There is no reason to complain about getting fucked over if you did it to yourself.

Yep. I made tons of posts on our leaderboard at the time saying Daka should be booted. On a non EQ level, it was pathetic to see the indifference expressed by our officers.

I don't really care what people do online with each other but intentionally deceiving your own guildmates for money doesn't fly with me in any situation. It wasn't just guys and some cyber fetish. A female or two were duped as well.

I don't think Daka needed to be ass reamed with a toilet scrubber but being removed from the guild was a no brainer.

The only reason Dakamura got loot was because

A) He/she was a paladin

B) Mobs in ToV only drop Paladin, SK, Monk loots

C) He/she showed up every raid

D) He/she was at raids no matter what kind of loot the mob dropped

To be honest, although I find it quite deplorable to be that low to lie in any respect to your gaming family, he/she was not a loot whore. I would have rather had 30 more Dakamuras than the rest of the loot whoring fucks that only showed up for mobs that dropped their flavor of candy. He/she did not ask for cash from what I remember....it was offered by the members who bought into it.

For the record, I don't remember Kylere giving 2 shits one way or the other seeing as how he fucking lived in Ohio and was not driving anywhere to meet someone who claimed to be a 16 year old female. There are plenty of bar sluts in Cincinnati that he could have dragged home and gotten a penicillin shot later.

I was not an officer at the time, but I would not have voted to boot him/her out either. Plenty of mangina on the server has played the same game...and it really should not matter what sex the player is. If you horny fucks couldn't control yourselves to the point that it interfered with the way you thought of someone, then you should go get some whores or therapy.

It wasn't the mangina or cyberwhoring that was the issue. Daka could have a shit fetish for all I care and roleplay a transvestite. It's an online roleplaying game after all. The point was trying to take money from guildmates. That's an easy boot out the door decision for me.
