What Season Premieres Are You Looking Forward To?

Post by Bubba Grizz »

I have short list of the shows that I like to watch and new shows that I am eager for the premiere. In no particular order.

Enterprise
Alias
The Practice
Firefly
Smallville
John Doe

These are the ones that I will be recording on a regular basis (no Tivo).

and Searyx, I'd think of all people you would be the one first in front of the TV in the morning to catch all the potential Toon Poon.

The chick who plays Lana Lang on "Smallville" is SUCH a fucking hottie. I'd watch the show just for her. The fact that it doesn't suck is gravy.

"Enterprise" had a pretty good first season. I'm hoping that the whole show doesn't continuously revolve around the temporal cold war. Those kinda episodes need to be spread out like TNG did the ones with Q. Also, I think Hoshi is hawter than the Vulcan.

I'm prolly looking forward to "The Dead Zone" more than any other show. The first season was so well done that UPN made a copycat show ;)

Smallville rocks. One of the best new shows I've seen in years, especially for fans of the genre.

While the chicks are hot, no doubt, what impresses me most is the writing and casting of Lex Luthor. He's a complete show-stealer.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to Simspons, Enterprise, King of the Hill, Futurama, Farscape, and Family Guy (which seems to come back at odd times every year).

Buffy, but I don't get the damn UPN where I live.. have to read it off of the official homepage. (damn charter media!)

Firefly looks cool.

John Doe looks interesting, at the very least.

24 Season 2 looks semi intrieguing.

The Shield: Season 2 - HELL. YES.

I wish I had a second VCR so I could tape Angel while watching WWE Raw.. which has sucked a nut recently, bleh.

Fast Lane.. may check it out.

Nah. The future missus and I are big fans of the Amazing Race. It's all about the people playing the game. I remember the first season's contestants a lot better than the 2nd's.

Simpsons and Futurama.

Though I don't watch either on purpose. TV is pretty random for me, I usually end up on PBS :)

Fairly certain Futurama was cancelled. First The Critic, now Futurama and The Family Guy. Proof that Simpsons surviving on FOX was a pure fluke, damn their eyes.

I think they still have a few seasons' worth of episodes of Futurama that have already been produced even though it has been cancelled. At least, that is what I heard :) I really dug the Family Guy, sad thing is that most people(and definately not the Fox execs) didn't get the humor.

I still dig the Simpsons of course, although they have been slipping in creativity over the last few seasons. I don't like "reality" shows as the contestants are all people that are so damn fake, hah! :P

As long as they have the Simpsons playing regularly, I don't give a flying fuck what else is on TV :) If I watch the TV it's usually DVDs or movies on TV, yeah, they're usually the chick flicks that I so love :p

I loved the family guy. I think the only reason that show was cancelled was because of it's time slot.. put in the sunday line up and it would of been great.

Only things I'm looking foward to are

Southpark
OZ
Timmah.

It's assholes like the people in the Amazing Race that give American tourists a bad name.

My gf loves this show and while I hear this crap in the background I wish I could reach in and beat all these fucktards silly.

I.E. Reality TV sucks swollen donkey balls. (Hey!! there's a reality TV show right there)

Not new shows, but I love watching the latino game shows when I'm cooking dinner and such.

They are a huge contrast from the equivilant crap put out on the english speaking channels. The spanish speaking game shows are fun to watch and fun for the participants. Generally short term too, you don't have to dedicate 1 night a week for 6+ weeks to watch 12 idiots make themselves (and you by proxy) look less intelligent.

I believe Futurama has been bought by Cartoon Network and they plan to air episodes somewhere in their "Adult Swim" cartoon block that airs Sundays from 10pm-1am EST and again on Thursdays in the same time slot.

Simpsons is the only thing i really watch weekly(or daily, thx re-runs) also watch Smallville occasionally. My GF is addicted to Friends and Will and Grace and whatever else is on that night(thursday), so i see a fair ammount of those, not really anticipating them a lot but they are fun shows.
