Is that makeup going down both sides of his nose? I mean I see all the eye makeup. And wtf happened to his damned top lip, it got pulled down and they even put a little knotch in the middle of it.

His father used to constantly berate him for having a wide nose and thick lips. Called him a nigger and told him that he needs to look more like a white kid in order to sell more albums. I guess that kind of thing has a lasting effect on you when you are 12 years old.

I don't know why his father would think that, despite being in the time of and after the civil rights movement, the child Jackson sold tons of records. His solo record was huge, signifying that race and what his nose looked like had nothing to do with it. But its obvious that hes been abused... He has never grown out of the preteen maturity...

Until Soul Man and the Cosbys came out in the 80's. Then it was cool! So before he started into his extreme face-jobs, being black was very accepted in the entertainment business.

Anyone who had a (lack of a ) childhood like Jackson's is bound to become a fucked up individual. Being in the spotlight 24/7, being *on* 24/7 and being a moneymaking machine for a domating, abusive father isn't exactly conductive to becoming a stable person.

That doesn't excuse his actions should he be guilty of the charges, of course.

I don't think that whether or not his father is right is particularly relevent.

It's kind of a shame.. he should have received help a long time ago. Just goes to show that money doesn't make up for lack of everything else I guess.

I am not a huge fan exactly of his music heh, but I wont deny the fact that he is very talented both with music and dancing.

He really is(was) unbelievably talented. It's almost scary how good of a performer he was for a long period of time.

I'm not really sure what he's been trying to do to himself though. I guess he's a "cutter" w/ an unending bank account

Sorry I don't agree with the whole omg he was so hard done by bullshit. I know people brought up in bullshit environments, with fucking awful families and friends, that are respectable, decent people.

If anything he's a media victim, and god help anyone who runs into that trap.

That's bullshit and you know it. Different people react differently to situations. And no offense but I hardly think your friends lived through what the Jackson family did.

His original moonwalking performance of Billy Jean on the MoTown Awards (I think) was amazing. It's still one of the coolest and memorable things I've seen on TV. No one came close to his unique moves back then.

As for his childhood trauma being an excuse for his recent actions. Bullshit. You learn from your mistakes. He's already fucked up plenty. If he didn't learn from the 20 million case, he will never learn that children shouldn't be touching his monkey. Lock him up.
