I've been noticing that people assume you're serious unless you use smilie faces. But then, how can you do dry, deadpan humor? You can't stick a smily on the end, that ruins the deadpan nature. But then if you don't put the smiley, no one knows you're joking. I know one way is by making your statement very obviously absurd, but sometimes its funnier if it isn't so obvious. I think all posts should be audio.
