I use the MS Wireless Natural keyboard + mouse combo, works well. It's RF, but I've never had any problems with it, and batteries last at least 3 months or so before I have to replace them.

Mine are MS wireless as well, really happy with them, though it does suck when I'm playing the bard and my batteries die :D

I use the same NiMH rechargeables as I do in my camera, GPS, etc.. They last longer than disposables and are cheaper over time.

I went with wire. Wireless was twice as much and you gotta buy new batteries all the time or remember to put it in its charger thing. Too much responsibility for me. It's not like I'm running across the room or anything. If I had wireless it'd be in the exact same spot.

Wire for keyboard but wireless on mouse for sure. MX-700 is by far the best mouse I've used. You don't buy batteries. About every other night, you put the mouse on the recharger stand and 2 hours later you're good for another couple days. You'll want to double-click your mouse more often with an MX-700!

Note: if you're using a trackball, wireless really doesn't matter. It's not like you're moving your trackball around.

Problem is, I sit in a recliner to be at my computer in my room, I absolutely need a wireless trackball, as a wired one is too much of a PITA.

If there isnt a bluetooth trackball out now, can one of you make one for me? Id gladly pay up to $19.95 american for it! =8-)
