I vote for UT for #1 but then I'm a little biased since I live here and went to school there. :)

They're going to have to perform WAY better than how they did against North Texas though. What a ZzZz!!

New Target?

Post by Omniz »

Whats wrong Vor? Destroy Florida and you have to find a new target? Just keep mouthing off, Texas might be there in January. Got to beat OU Nebraska and whoever comes out of the north division.

You're complaining about Texas getting 2 votes but FSU got one and you say nothing?!?! They could barely scrape together a win against ISU for christ's sake!

Just wait till January. You will see Texas in the #1 spot... National Championship this year, baby! I'm prediciting an upset of Miami 4 months ahead of the game that has yet to even be scheduled!

so let's say it was reversed...

Texas blows out Nebraska at home and Miami beats Florida A&M 27-0.

does miami deserve a #1 vote?

hell no.

but like i said, i just think it is funny that is all, so don't get all riled up :)

it shows you how the poles are bullshit. the first place vote on the AP for FSU, yeah that was funny, but a lot of writers are morons. I brought up the point about the ESPN poll, because that is a poll of coaches.

I was just curious what coach besides Mack Brown voted Texas as #1, i thought it would be fun to speculate, hence the title of the thread :)

who knows Vor, there have been more that a few coaches that have said they don't actually do that vote themselves. I'll take a guess though,

Larry Coker - wouldn't want to vote himself as number one

Bob Stoops - doesn't want to be ranked higher than UT when he looses to them on Oct. 12th 8)

The way Texas looked against UNT I would be suprised if they are still ranked in the top 10 within the next 1.5 months. 1? please.
Don't blame me if you see my old characters acting like asses.

Rofl, it took "sooner magic" to squeak by the probation filled Crimson Tide. Stoops was outcoached plain and simple.

With those gaping holes in the run defense and no replacement for Rocky Calmus and Roy Williams, you'll be lucky to beat Missouri and Texas A&M at their yard.
