rented this movie on sunday, never heard of it being out in theatres this year but it was defedentally some badass shit. Follows the same emotionless perfict society theme like the giver, pleasentville,but with a lot more violence and a few matrix and bladerunner knock offs but its worth checking out fo sho

This would be a fantastic "Action movie" if it wasn't for it trying way too hard to convince you it was something more that. A whole slew of dramatic cliches aside, this was a fairly decent movie, and worth at least a rental, if only for the action sequences.

On top of that, I believe Christian Bale is a fantastic actor. It's interesting to look at him in the beginning of the film and notice he has practically no emotion in his face whatsoever. By the end of the film, you almost don't even recoginze him as the same guy due to the sudden introduction of emotions flooding his mind and body. He pulled this character off quite nicely. It's too bad the script couldn't have been that caliber.
