Jeez, does this movie have any hype at all? I don't think anyone cares anymore heh. it got 2 stars in my paper and he made it sound as if it was dull as hell.
I'll catch it at a matinee. I don't trust it's quality by plunking down a full $20 to see it during prime time.
1 positive review out of 8. Rotten Tomatoes is somewhere arond 35% on this movie. Still planning on seeing it this weekend, but I'm not as excited anymore.
Be excited. The reviewers can suck my dick.
Hell, they can suck my cat's dick.
The movie is good.
I'll open a spoiler thread in a sec.
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
I saw it this morning for a work thing. I felt like I was watching like 3 movies and a cartoon I have seen before. Action scenes are terrific, the story is.....did I mention the action scenes?
Better than the second, not as good as the first... much more story in this one as well as much more Christian symbolism, worth seeing if you have seen the others. If for nothing else but the tity-twisting scene...
I dunno man... maybe in a bit. If I have to sit through another 3 hour crapfest that was Reloaded... It is just a hard sell at this point is all I am saying..
One of the best movies of the year. I liked the ending. I liked the acting. Especially Jada, and even Keanu. If you don't like it that's just... your opinion.
Oh yes, you'll have to think to get it. If you choose not to think you still might like it, if you choose to think, you still might not.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.
My friend bought every ticket a few weeks ago for the Matrix Revolutions 9pm showing tonight as a reward for his employees. There was only 25 of us in the full sized theater. He called me up and asked if I wanted to go and I wasn't about to say no to that.
To sum it up: I'm glad he bought them and not me! Secondly, it was fun to dissapoint many Matrix fans by taking away a prime time showing at the major theater in our area.
Matrix 1 > 2 >> > > > > 3
I'll only comment that if you went to Matrix 3 without seeing 1 and 2 you'd be completely lost...more so than and sequel I know. I also think that matrix 2 and 3 should have been combined for a 2.5-3 hour movie instead of what we ended up with.
Yeah, that was my favorite part of the Movie too. We got some nice trailers, Troy, Last Samurai(omg I want the music from that trailer, the drumbeats and chanting), and Return of the King. I had seen the RoTK and Last Samurai before, but they are killer trailers. Matrix was fun, but I didnt give a shit about Neo...hes the most robotic character in the movies. Agent Smith has much more personality and redeems this movie. Hugo Weaving is the man.
saw it last night. complete fucking dogshit. the wachowski brothers are like quentin tarantino in that they have to copy everything they like, only they do it really badly and the end result is a film that sucks. the whole thing feels like a parody of the first film.
Finally saw it (yeah I know.. Kept putting it off because of how bad everyone said it was..). However, I liked it more than the second one. The second one bored me. Probably wont watch it a again though.
