[Web Servers] What could cause this?

Post by Xouqoa »

We have a server which is hosting a bunch of different sites. There seems to be a conflict of some sorts with ONLY two of them, though.

http://www.ntaesg.com or http://ntaesg.com

http://www.dbtcf.org, http://www.dbtcf.com, http://dbtcf.org, http://dbtcf.com

Those are the two conflicting sites. For some reason, sometimes when you hit one or the other, it will load the index.cfm file from the OTHER site. I haven't been able to figure out exactly what causes it, either.

If you go to one of those sites and use index.htm though, it works fine. It's only having issues with the index.cfm files. All of the other sites on the server work fine, and the other files on those sites (aside from the index.cfm files) work fine. Just for some reason those two files get cris-crossed.

Any ideas? Not sure what to tell the server guy - I couldn't find a setting in the CF Admin program anywhere. We deleted the dbtcf.org/com site and remade it on the server, and it is still having the problem.

Do you have more than one place to set a default page for a domain?

The only way I can think of that they'd get crossed would be a resolver issue on the virtual servers.

He uses this Ensim application thing to manage the sites, so each one has it's own place/control panel to set the default document.

Running IIS of course..

It's probably a DNS issue however.
