I don't have any problem with CT, but I have heard increasingly more bad talk about azzuden and it really suprises me that the officers would let someone like that slip through the cracks. It always seemed to me that the officers in CT that are now more in power have had good judgement, and I know fullwell that they regularily read these boards. Strange I say.

I think CT still tags recruits/guests during a raid, so perhaps that was why.

On a side note, Voronwe is right, we still temp tag people for raids. Hell I am glad we do, avoids the hassle of multiple hotkeys or redoing hotkeys. Counting how many enchanters we have logged in at one time lately, raid tagging anyone with KEI is no biggie, does not mean anything.

Anyway, we covered Azzuden and his assmaster friend, Simplyr couple of days ago, Kylere. Sorry you missed the thread, but the facts are, they're assholes. I think the reason you're seeing the responses that you are is that CT has (by all accounts) really cleaned up their act (yes, I know you don't care what the rest of us think), and people are a bit shocked to see you guilding someone like this. /shrug

Guess how many days ago he was temp tagged CT? Sure was not yesterday or day before or, well you get the idea. On the started a raid channel is hard thing, it actually is kind of a hassle, not a hard one but a hassle still.

Sabek, woo 23 posts, you been Jackassed yet? Hmm Fartstorm, is that the new Bandits or was it Rune of War? Unless you want a perma raid channel then you do have to swap in hotkeys or redo them when you usually use /gu for it. THINK THEN COMMENT, not the other way around.

Kylere, you have obviously confused me with someone who cares what you do anymore. I don't. I was simply echoing the sentiment that I was surprised, not that I think you guys are doing anything wrong etc. It's none of my business what you do etc. I was just bringing his notoriety to your attention because I thought it was information you might be concerned about. I'd like to think you can tell when I'm flaming you and when I'm not, but if there's any doubt, I wasn't.

At any rate, I disagree with that you said about the channel thing. Hell, I started playing again a week ago, and even I can master:

/join [channelname]:[password]

I've only made a channel for others to join once, so I don't remember the command to create one. However, I was able to figure it out by typing /channel alone. It will give you all the arguments for the command. Could you explain why you think you need hotkeys/etc.?

On the raid channel thing though, look at it this way, everyone has assists, debuffs, etc hotkeys thru guild, we bring along 1-3 people for a raid, and now we hassle with another channel for them, rather than just adding them to standard channel. Then there is always someone who just does not get the clue and as a result is lost, then add in CR hassle on clueless, etc. Simpler to keep it to one channel. You must remember we let rangers in CT and they get confused easily.

Makes sense now. Remember, I'm just a warrior (heh n00b warrior at the moment), so I have a hotkey for assist(s) and umm... Well you get the idea /snicker.

Actually, I have them for disciplines, assisting others, assisting me, but was trying to be funny.

One thing you can do for the hotkeys now to possibly make it easier, is use some of the extra lines.

Just as an example my assist hotkey:

/g Assist me on << %t >>
/1 Assist me on << %t >>

The only thing I have to change in that scenario is possibly the channel number. If I'm not in a channel at that time, I just get an error message, that really doesn't affect anything. I understand how it could be more of a pain for a class that made more substantial use of the hotkeys though. Thanks.

Thanks for posting why you insist on tagging people for your raids, because I have often wondered why in the world CT did that. I'm just curious if the positive really outweighs the negetives like: people not-getting detagged, fucktards running around with your tag, people planting spies into your /guild speak, and just the termoil of making a tag-along raider de-guild and join yours for one night. Getting retagged is pain in the ass and makes my nervis huge. I wish you guys would just use a channel like every other guild in Norrath.

Still, thanks for posting a little clarification. It still dosen't make sense to me though. It takes a whopping 60 seconds to add a raid channel to all hotkeys. To each thier own I guess

He is not a member - he has raided with us 2x and has spent 2 and a half hours total with the CT tag.

Personally - I had never heard of this guy until he came on a raid - I was told by members he was a bad guy and we as a guild have discussed him and I do not see any reason for him to be raiding with us any longer.

CT tags guests - this is because we track attendance of our guild and guests. We do this through log files and adding guests is harder when you don't get to do a /who GUILD to find out who is there. This is how I know the exact amount of time he has had a CT tag - all I had to do was look him up.

On people not deguilding etc. we keep good track of people deguilding who were added for the raids - yes the positives on saving time for our tracking system far outway the bad.

No - please don't. I get enough tells if you are seriously that interested in seeing whether this guy is in CT or not - go to http://www.celestialtomb.org we list the trial members and members on the members list.

I had not heard of azzuden until I saw a post on our boards asking for feedback on him. All I remember of that were opinions that he was a decent grouping enc but slacked\skipped on raids. That was before i saw the posts about him here here.

Curious when he was seen with a CT tag.

It seems his behavior is always like that in Kael. I had never heard bad things about him and judged him by personal encounters. I was factioning in kael a while back and see him run by while I was buffing my 5 minute old DC pet. Moments later he runs back and dies at my feet. Had his train not included Korekaz who summoned/owned me, I would have been fine.
I didnt spam him with tells, I just said "Could you possibly mem+use spell in your book called Improved Invis>? He said something along the lines of "nice train huh? and fuck off". So, I ran back..got rez'd and went on about my biz, (away from WL zone) Once I get all cozy, here comes stupid monk #! dragging Azzudens corpse and found it easier to just drag it to their camp and FD train by me. (Fussion (sp?) Instinct member) I was fine for his train and killed it all and even got some chain legs to MQ for a friends gimp off of it

Again, I send a tell to Instinct member #2 asking him nicely to call his trains and he said " Blow me K?"
So, I left.
The End.
My opinion, Azzuden and who he choses to drag his corpses are assholes who play with the no responsibility or manners. I try to just avoid them since it only seems to get worse when they are near.

Well, since i was guilded with azzuden for quite a while I will stick up for him here. I was most suprised to hear he was being such an ass since he was always a stand-up guy when I was in OG with him. Aranuil's advice is sound... just don't be an ass anymore.
