I like their new song "Hey ya", anyone got any thoughts about the band or new album coming out? I personally can't wait for it, they've been the only rap group I've liked, they continue to put out good music.
Loved them from the start. I can remember sitting around my old ass apartment jamming out to Southernplayeristiccadillacfunkinmusic or whatever the long ass name was almost 24/7. That and Players Ball from the same album.
Outkast was always one if my Favorite group. Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik was an outstanding cd Players Ball and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik were the best two songs on the cd. All there Cds have been good and they defintly have an original style to them.
I've listened to Speakerboxxx/The Love Below a couple times all the way through so far, and I'm very impressed. If I can include the double album as one entry, it's probably in my top 5 rap albums. I highly recommend it.

Picking this up tomorrow as well. I am a huge fan of Outkast, and have everyone of their cd's. Probably the most original group to be in music at this time.
Ever since I first heard Outkast around ATLiens, I was hooked by their unique sound and style. I've seen them perform live at the Area 1 festival in Minnesota, and they are two of the most down to earth guys I've ever seen standing on a stage. I'll admit they aren't my favorite rappers of all time, but they are just one of those unordinary groups you are glad is making music, just for the sake of the music. If I listen to one more song about the fucking rims on some guy's car, or see another video of a bunch of guys in expensive jewelry popping bottles of "kris" yelling about how much money they have, I am going to smash my own face in with a mallet. I really wanted Outkast to catch on and "make it" big time, and now that they are really getting big time recognition, I hear Andre 3000 is leaving to pursue his ambition of playing instrumental music in a band...
