hehe, well the fan play will be focused on, but that isnt what cost the Cubs the game last night.
Dusty Baker, Alex Gonzalez, Mark Prior, and then Kyle Farnsworth blew that game.
Dusty should have had somebody up in the bullpen in the 8th inning once there was a baserunner. That is a huge mistake that cannot be overlooked. Prior should have never faced Lee (who got the 2 run double to tie the game). He was at 120 pitches, and the announcers knew that Lee was getting better and better swings against Prior through the game, so Baker should have too.
Also, the pitching coach should have been sent out before Lee was up just to slow things down. It all was happening too fast, and that is where it is the job of the coaches to re-establish control of the situation.
That was one of the biggest choke jobs i've ever seen though, hehe.
I will not speak his name though until these issues are resolved tonight!
Yeah, blaming the fan for that meltdown is just an excuse. He certainly didn't HELP things by taking away that out, but there is no excuse for allowing 8 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning when you are up 3-0.

Regardless of the blame or fault you can or cannot place on that fan, if the Cubs lose game 7, that guy is gonna have to move..probably out of the city. He's gonna be harrassed and threatened beyond belief once people find out where he lives
