Saw it. I give it a C. It was too story driven, not nearly enough violence. In fact if you have seen the full length trailer then you basically have seen 7/10 of the action. It was a good movie in its own way and there will definately be a sequel to this. One more by the looks.

It was good. Lots of story, not as much killing as I would have expected, but they make it up with an actual plot.

I really enjoyed it.

Also practically died watching the trailer for Resident Evil 2. :)

I'd give it a B for entertainment value. Story was good and the action was enough to carry the movie along. It starts with fight scene and ends with a fight scene don't really know what more you can ask for . It is a good set up movie for the sequel. Hopefully it does well in the box office so they will make one.

Oh and yea the trailer for Resident Evil was good, it threw me off for a little bit.

LOL, that RE:2 trailer pissed me off at the beginning. I was cussing the movie industry for slipping a commercial in the middle of the previews. Then the end came.

Huh?

My friends and I all agreed it was a *terrible* movie. I mean, we were entertained, but it was awful. The acting was subpar, the story was fairly underdeveloped (I could sum it up in a sentence or three), and they showed so little real action - it was all that slow motion then incredibly fast motion bullshit where you never really SEE anything happen.

Did anyone else notice when Victor lapsed into Southern Drawl while he was talking to Craven?

I agree with the lawn gnome, not a good flick at all. I think to many vampires watched the Matrix. A lot of little things also bugged me, I mean if she is going to fire 1500 rounds at a time at least dont keep showing me the little 15 round clips (or what ever they were) over and over again. Ya I know she reloaded a couple times for effect. The guy at the end looked gay as hell, kinda like the old hulk tv show, I thought he was supposed to be all powerfull but then gets his ass kicked by Victor who is easily dispatched with by the chick....ya ok neato

Ok I knew the "commercial" was for RE:2 as soon as I heard "Umbrella Corporation (which was pretty early on). I don't even like the game(s) or the first movie, but I caught that reference :P

I thought Underworld was pretty blah-zay. Kate was hot, the action and acting were not. I just kinda sat through it wondering when it would end. The guy at the end seemed to be moving at lightning speed, would get his ass kicked by his supposed inferior, and stand there while he got shot up by a few lackeys? He should be raping everyone. The sequence where Victor bought it was just cheese. Everyone in the theater was laughing or groaning their collective asses off at that point, including me. Oh well - I didn't expect much, and I got exactly that (but was hoping for more).

Kate Bekinsale wrote:"This character isn't running away in a white dress screaming, she's a fighter," says Beckinsale, wearing a black shirt with her shoulder-length hair covering her necklace and black and white striped pants. She adds, "I'm wearing no underwear, by the way, I never wear underwear."

The reason she did such a shitty movie is because the director is her fiance. The sad thing is, there is a lot of potential in what little story was provided. Premise good, execution bad. Instead we got shot after shot of characters dramatically opening doors.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Bummer. I had high expectations for this...

If only someone can come up with a decent potrayal of Lestat..that would be bitchin...

'Interview' was very good...

Any of Anne Rice's books regarding vampires would be cool as hell if done correctly..

Those dumbasses that came up with 'Queen of the Damned' should be quartered...

Saw it today and I have to disagree with most when I say I liked it a lot. Granted there have been better movies in the genre but this put a nice twist on it. Lots of actors that I didn't know in the film. Well, actually I didn't recognize anyone really.

Saw this last night.

The lead character looked hot. Nice boots.

This movie had the potential to very good but it ended up being pretty bad. Good idea, horrible directing.

Whats with the main character dropping down into holes and then have the enemy right behind her at point blank range and miss her? Do werewolves have walleyed vision?

6/10 only because the lead character was so hot.

(you got to download 1.5 mb movie in kwons sig to read this along with however big the flash movie is on top of that!)

Most definitely.. she's what Trinity in the Matrix should have been. And MUCH hotter to boot.

For what it was (cheesy vamp flick w/special effects) it was ok, not as horrible as some people on this thread have said.. but opinions vary. Worth a rental if only for the lead character.. Yummy.

I still remember noel wondering whether it was a stunt ass or her own. After many, many rewinds, I think I can safely say it is her own. But I'll keep researching and keep you updated.
