Where to turn to ?

Post by Tiglat »

Hello Vault, =)

its been a while since I stopped playing EQ ..those who dont remember I was with CT back then ...

I hope there is still a lot of fun for you all in the game (and here) and that you have the same ammount of fun and entertainment (as well as terror at times) that I had for 3, 5 years.

Well, here is my problem :

I have been billed to my Credit Card last month and at least once before the ammount of 42,12 US ....it says its Everquest (basically it says SOE(EUR)EverquestSUB and a number with ten digits.

As I have never had problems before I quite dont know now where to turn to in order to get this fixed and my money back.

Thanks in advance for any help and all the best.

I'm betting that was a charge for LDoN on your account...They have royally screwed up billing LDoN...Cancelling billing for a lot of folks, misbilling a lot etc...If someone else is using your old account that's probably the origin of it all...

They apparently billed the original account credit card for LDoN in every (or many) case(s)...

I would hit their online chat or email customer service to get it corrected...

They will be months cleaning up this mess...

That and call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

Hey Tiglat!

Isn't it cool to get screwed by EQ even when your not playing? That was my little contribution to EQ way back when, sorry it got you.

Dispute it with your credit card's bank. You also might want to have them issue you a new card with different digits, just to be safe.

Hello Xzion, hello Pils and all,

Nice to hear from you all ....

How am I ? Well, doing quite well actually.
Been to San Fran last week (with Sun Microsystems) and had a good time there for nearly a week.
I dont play any MMORPG at the moment ...I had SWG installed and Betaed a bit, but it never catched me without the family-thing we had in CT that made me play EQ for the most part I believe now ..

I do a lot of sports in sparetime nowadays, did a Trans-Alps-MTB-Tour this summer, doing another next year and a Trans-Sicily as well, did my first half-Marathon in San Fran last week and planning on a full-distance-marathon in spring ...and find myself often thinking back to the good times we all had in CT and EQ ....Hoshkar, my daddy and falling asleep in front of the PC at nine in the morning to wake up from the pain when I hit the floor, =) ...

How are you doing all ?

Cu
