Prepare for a show. I don't just mean that in the sense of a concert. I am referring to it as a spectacle. Seeing as how Marilyn Manson started out just to see how far they could push the envelope of censorship, they put on some damn nice concerts. Whether or not you like the music, the actual set design, costumes (or lack thereof), and the lighting make it cool as hell.

I personally don't like some of Manson's stuff, but this most recent album has turned me back on to the band. Seeing as how he actually wrote the majority of the album on his own makes it pretty cool. It's spooky how he would talk about waking up at night and writing down snippets from dreams to include in songs though.

I have been to three concerts of Manson's. Two at Bogarts in Cincinnati and one at the Dayton Hara Arena. He puts on one helluva show and his music just seems to energize the audience. Quite wicked actually :). I'd like to go see him in concert again considering I refused to go to one after the album Holywood. I'm glad he's back on track with good music.
Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong:
THIS is the way the world ends.
