Norway just had local elections.. 57,8% voter turnout, which is the worse since the war..

We are getting too damn Americanized!

Unfortunately, it was robbed long ago of any valuables that might have been there. It wasn't a rich person's burial place anyway, probably the local "head farmer" or whatever it is called (the guy who controls several farms that other people run for him), since that would fit in with the area and the history of it.

And yes, when my mother first told me what it was I said "Let's go dig it up!", but now I am happy to say that we have left it untouched except for growing flowers on it.

No it wasn't a slave system, they were hired to work the other farms for them. That said, yes the vikings did have slaves. Usually wussy English ones though
