Florida State 38, Iowa State 31

ROFL!!!

The fearsome Cyclone D utterly shut down the vaunted FSU attack in the second half. Were it not for a last second goal-line stand, FSU would have lost. But they're not the most over-rated team in the country or anything...

oh my god i watched this game laughing so hard.

ESPN magazine is trying to out Sports Illustrated SI by making claims that Miami is overrated and FSU is good. By out-SI, i mean: SI always makes retarded predictions about all kinds of football, and i think it is only to piss people off to sell magazines. I think they do it on purpose, because they are always so incorrect.

Anyway, watching the Iowa State QB carve up the FSU secondary made me smile.

Also watching Iowa State's weak zone lock up Chris Rix while he was under almost zero pass rush made me smile.

It will be a thing of beauty to behold in the Orange Bowl!!!!!!!

You're right, we suck. I know Miami or Florida have NEVER wound up in a close game with an unranked team before that caught them with their pants down.

With the exception of Auburn when Fatty's son was coach (see Spurrier's Bowden Curse, Ch. 5), the Gators not only beat the shitty teams, we cover the spread.

Can I sue Spurrier for the loss of gambling income? :P
