Tattoos

Post by Siji »

I'm curious about other people's feelings on this. Personally, I don't like women with multiple tattoos. I mean, it's her body she can do whatever she wants, but I wouldn't personally date someone that was a walking canvas. (And no, I don't see the appeal of them on guys either. I've gone so far as to have the ones I did myself at 17 removed from my body.) I know some people love it, and I'm just curious how many here there are.

My ladyfriend has a small tattoo on her midriff, it's pretty sexah~

As a general rule though, if a girl is plastered with tattoos I wouldn't give her a second glance. i.e - demons tattooed onto face multiple times

Tattoos are great to me, just don't overdo it. A walking canvas isn't attractive. At least not to me.

Tattoos are far too common, which has destroyed any allure or taboo they once held. I could really care less one way or the other, but I voted that I don't like them because they are more of a fad than anything at this point and most people get them because it's the "in thing" right now.

My friend dated a woman who had the "white trash collection" ensamble of tattoos. Unicorn? Check. Tiger? Check. Dragon? Check. Rainbow? Check. Dolphin? Check. Heart? Check. She looked like popular culture threw up on her.

A woman's tattoo collection helps dictate her moral code. I woman with four or more tats has probably been pivot-girl at the boo-foo fest at a biker rally. She'll probably get an extra commorative tat for taking all of 'Tree Limb McClain" from Pueblo's Chapter of the Hell's Angels.

I'm sure there is an Ivy League equation that surmises a direct correlation between the number of tattoos a woman has and how little attention she got from daddy.

My sister-in-law is a perfect example; bulimic but with a tit job. She never got along with he dad and suddenly he dies. Now she is on her 4th tattoo honoring him. This chick is so fucked up, her dad hated the tats she had when he was alive, and now she's getting ink to honor him? What an ignorant fucking booch.

Listen, I have a tat, moment of weakness on a spring break in 88. I can't judge too harshly, but listen, if you are a woman and you have little regard for what goes on your body, you more than likely don't care what goes IN your body.

My two cents.

Hahahahahaha Fair! Add a butterfly and a former lover's name and I would hitch my trailer to it!

Seriously, I dig tattoos on ladies--maybe not a WHOLE LOT OF THEM, but some are cool...really depends on the person though. I just have 1 on each shoulder, and will eventually get more, should I find something I like... I would hope that my attraction for a woman would not be hinged on ink or no ink.. ;)

Tatto on woman can be very sexy or a huge turn off. It all depends on the tatto and the location. Small ones on the lower back I find very sexy.

Oh and some people don't get tattos because its the in thing. I have two of them tribal bands one across each bicep and I plan on getting another tribal design across the top of my back between my shoulder blades final one. Not because its the in thing because its just something I like and no other reason. I could care less what other people want and like when it comes to me.

I don't see a problem with them as long as they are done in moderation and are somewhat tastefull.

Just like guys, most women with a lot of tattoos (6+) have more than a few loose screws. I'll stay away thank you. Same with excessive piercing.

Yes it's a generalization, but an apt one.

While I think the human canvas look is pure trash, there is something REALLY sexy about finding a little tat in some secret spot on a girl's body.

I'm not talking about a big "F" on her shaved pubic mound or a giant red arrow pointing to her asshole, but something subtle that's covered up even in a bikini.

I find tattoos pretty sexy on a woman, provided they aren't white trash-y tattoos. As a rule of thumb, if it's a Looney Toons character, it's white trash.

If you're into tattoos on chicks, the following NWS link is to Suicide Girls, which is a borderline porn site featuring a lot of chicks with tattoos and piercings and whatnot. It's a pay site, but I found passwords to it around the net in the past, shouldn't be too hard to find.

Tattoos on a man really turn me off. It just makes their skin like grimy imo. I like "man-scaping"....clean, no artificial markings, and smooth lines.

I don't know what I would do if I found that tat on my girlfriend heh.

Anyway, I'm not much for peircings and tats, but a few of the smaller less annoying ones are OK.

I personally think anyone with a person or bands name tattoo'd on them is a bit of a moron. Same with cartoon characters or anything you should outgrow.

But if it was like something that meant something to them...and not too conspicous it would be fine with me.

I know this one kid recently got a huge devil girl tattoo'd on his whole upper arm, except when it was halfway done his friend that was doing it disappeared so he has half a tattoo for the last 6 weeks or so hehe. I find that hilarious. Actually some of you know him too. ;-) Don't poke too much fun it's someone you guys don't flame.

I'm of the opinion that if you're gonna do it, DO IT. Don't have some pansy-ass rinky-dink little speck somewhere (ESPECIALLY not in the lamer spots like shoulderblade, small of back etc). Have a fuck-off great masterpiece scrawled on your skin where you can show it off when you want to and cover it up when you need to.

Me ex had a piddly little thing in the small of her back and it always looked like a thread had come loose from her knickers. It was so not worth the effort. . .

Seebs? The seebs from the giant fort?

Anyway, I dont care for ink on a girl at all, but a little may pass. But damnit, what makes a girl put ink on her tits? Gimme a break. That is a turn off. Sexual parts should not be inked, period.

The Seebs and Seebers you see ingame are former Seeber shells. I left the game in 2000 to get married. Hopefully they are holding up my family name well.

I dont mind tattoo's. My g/f has two, a small one on her shoulder blade and then a reasonably sized one on the small of her back.

But wouldnt be able to stand it if she was completely covered.

yeah, the arm bands can be pretty hot. i'm a freak though, i always think about what that's going to look like in 40 years when your triceps go to shit and you have the flying squirrel arms happening.

i've always wanted a triangular tribal on my lower back, where it would be hidden even by underwear, but i never went through with it. at first it was because i thought i wanted kids someday, and apparently during pregnancy skin stretching around the tummy can fuck up a lower back tattoo.

the only reason i don't have a tattoo is because i keep talking myself out of it.

tats on boobs are ridiculous. that's the one part of your body where the skin is going to stretch most. and why do people get tats of shit like marvin the martian? i guess it's a personal choice, but damn... if it's going to be on your body forever, and you're picking an actual character/name/personality, wouldn't you put a little more thought into it? not just OMGZ MRVAIN MARSHIN IS TEH KEWL!!1!

i have an aunt who divorced her husband of 20 years and got 4 tattoos - all little meaningless pictures of ladybugs and keys and garbage like that lol. i just don't get it.

I'm very much a "discreet" tattoo person. If I ever get one (who knows!) it would have to have special meaning for me and I would most likely put it somewhere only my SO would see.

My last SO had a tattoo that only myself and her sister knew about.

I have several tattoos but I consider all of mine to be art and mine I can cover up at any time. I do mainly tribal artwork when I design mine. I don't agree walking into a studio and grabbing a picture off the wall. 1) The item will not be unique to you and 2) I didn't design it and it will have no meaning. I am not the person for color all though I do have a little red and blue to highlight around one of mine.

I do agree with most people here that tattoos on the boobs or people's name are trailor trashish.

As for the opposite sex haivng tattoos? That's why I find my husband VERY sexy.

Worst tattoo I ever saw was this friend of mine who got a rainbow in the middle of her thigh - and the rainbow was soaring out of a cloud - and in the cloud it had her name - HER OWN NAME - Jenn!!

Was so fucking ugly. Best part was when my mom saw it and shrieked at the top of her lungs "omg jennifer you're going to get AIDS!!!" rofl

I've now had three removed via laser, and my understanding is that Red, Yellow and White are the hardest - right along with any other light colored inks. The ruby (red) laser works best on darker colors. All mine were mostly green (started as black indian ink) and they've come off fine.

http://www.cosmeticlaserfl.com/about.html

"Also, darker inks such as black, blue, and green are often easier to remove than red or yellow tattoo inks."

Just FYI.. 8)

But people with neck, hand, face etc tats just bother me, it is like they are screaming for attention.

Bar code is cool.....I like that I considered that as one of my 3 choices...not on my neck though, I'd want it hidden....you know when you do job interviews and such....

The other options were either my SSN on like my Ass cheek or something (SSN would have to be private obviously). Or a japanese word.

------------------------------------
Why would you tattoo your own name on yourself? To remember your name? Or to remind the person your sleeping with what your name is in case he didn't catch it at the bar?

------------------------------------
Steve O from jackass also has a life size picture of his own face on his back....don't forget that one.

And who was it that got the off-road tattoo in Henry Rollins Hummer? It was like a smiley face but all sqiuggly because they were hitting the bumps really hard. Was that Steve O too?

------------------------------------
If you put sunscreen on your tattoo won't you get like a white area all around it? I've missed spots when I put lotion on as a kid and I had the reverse happen and it looked bad.

To answer that, yeah it does look kinda wierd but if you think about it, would you rather have a wierd tan that won't stick around but 3 months during the winter, or a faded out tattoo that will have to be retouched up in a few years.

Feh, tattoos are just another retarded way caucasians attempt to leech other peoples culture and fail miserably. They are supposed to be related to something profound about your life or your identity, instead it's generally "oh, look, there's *another* bint with a scroll tattooed across her lower back to be different, oh, and her 5 friends all have variations on the same thing"

Get a tattoo, don't get a tattoo, I don't really care.. BUT if you're going to tell the world something about yourself, try not to make it "I'm another worthless fucking consumer sheep".
