Microsoft has today announced that the second wave of its Platinum Hits games for the Xbox will be arriving in stores soon. No exact dates release dates have been announced at this time but, as with the first wave of Platinum Hits games, each of the games will be sold in silver packaging for an estimated retail price of $19.99. The games in the second wave of Platinum Hits, a few of which are already available, are as follows:

Dead or Alive 3
Dead to Rights
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
James Bond 007: Nightfire
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4
Unreal Championship

I was thinking after reading the post.
Do you think that is a wise move from a business sandpoint or not?
On one hand they screw with used games dealers and take the money for themselves which is nice.
On the other hand they might have people who wait for the games to become platinum hits (then again those are the same people who would probably wait and try to buy it used).
I think it's a good strategy...
I didn't see any games that peaked my interest though.

Haven't purchased or played nightfire, but from my limited experience with lotr, it really sucks. I haven't made it very far, mostly because of boredom.Sionistic wrote:was nightfire and lotr any good?
