Within this day and age many women whether fat or skin usually wear low-riders. I would say a good bit of time their underwear is protruding from the back. Can't the women feel this, as it looks gay as hell. I went out with a women this past Sunday and we are walking into a restaurant with her thong underwear hanging out. I have known this girl for a very short time and couldn't decide whether to say something. I eventually did, and I didn't see her underwear the rest of the night....well not entirely true. Anyone else notice this trend.

Yeah, this has been going on for a good 3 years or more now.....a girls panties show out the back of her pants.

It's a combination of new low rider jeans and such, and the more common appearance of thong-type underwear. But as I have previously mentioned there is a third factor and I'm not exactly sure how it works in but it seems the underwear creep up another 1/4 inch for each beer she has drank or so.

As long as she is approx average looking or better I don't find it offensive, but if she is like 100 lbs overweight and I'm trying to eat, it's a little inconsiderate.

I'm not sure how I would feel about my date exposing her underwear, you can look at it from 2 perspectives:
1. She is doing it to keep your attention focused on her.
2. She is doing it to get the attention of other men focused on her.
Since I wouldn't know why she is doing it, I'd probably keep my mouth shut.

The fact she put them away when you mentioned it is a good sign it was for your viewing pleasure. I wouldn't lose her number just yet.

Option 3: they don't realize their undies are showing. It's like the tag of your shirt sticking out I would imagine only it may or may not look good.

this woman came into my store today and she must have been 375-400 lbs. worse she was wearing this ultra skanky shoulder less crop top that barely covered anything (but it was still big enough to cover my car in the winter). she had gigantic rolls of fat hanging over the top of her top and over her jeans.

because I am still traumatized by the years of arguements with my mother about where pants should sit. She wears all of her pants at her "natural waistline" which, when you come from a family of short torso'd people puts them directly beneath your boobs. *shudder* Not a pretty sight... Oh and another nice side effect of having low rise pants is that I can pretend that I have a longer torso...

I would also like to point out that g-strings will provide the same "no-panty line" effect as thongs but they are made to fit more like a string bikini (so lower on the waist) whereas thongs are meant to be higher on the waist (I think its just to show off more ass

As I understand, a thong is a thin strip of fabric that covers the front genital region tapering into a string / simarilly smaller piece of fabric that slips between the cheeks of the wearer and connects to the top of the back of the banties through that area.

A g-string, by comparisson, is simly a string that goes down the center of the garment, both front and back, providing just enough cover to make it legal in places such as strip joints that are under state law to prohibit full nudity and on certain public beaches.

My circumstance was we were walking into a restaurant, where I knew a few people would recognize me. I like women to look respectable, and to me panties showing is not. She thanked me for telling her, so I guess it was the right thing to do. It was sticking out by about 4 inches, not slighty.

do you know how uncomfortable it can be for some women to wear jeans at their "natural" waist lines?? For me, who has more hips than boobs, it's a freaking nightmare... the low rise jeans sit just on the hips and make it more comfortable for things like bending and walking and breathing

and, a thong, even though it rides your crack, is comfortable for a lot of women, because you don't have a shitload of fabric covering your behind where it bunches constantly.

but most women don't even know they're showing. It really disturbs me to see posts like Pils. If a woman was 115 lbs, tall, sexy and does the peek-a-boo thong thing, then it's sexy. If a woman is 100lbs overweight and does the peek-a-boo thong thing to feel sexy, it's considered "bad taste"... in my opinion, she's got a right to. Okay a few topics in this thread.

If you are more than 100% above the standard body weight, then you need to keep that stuff covered ( A 5'6" woman weighing 250lbs for example) but same applies for guys. Is this a double standard? Yes it is a bit of one, but remember that I was insanely fat for years ( 340's and 350's at 6'3, and I kept my fat ass covered, therefore I am only basing my views of the issue on factual data as a healthy person (Well 250's but working it still) who was healthy before and has had an obese phase)

Considering our societal norms it seems freakish for anyone to assume that extra 125lbs they are carrying is sexy. A person very close to me recently observed that the only type of guys going after really heavy girls were those who sought to control women, I think this is the truth more than any fetish for fat issues.

If you can see her thong/panties, shut up and enjoy it, if it shocks you so much you have to say something...grow up.

Why do people have to be thin to be sexy? I'm not by all means thin, but I do feel sexy and flaunt it when the time is appropriate. Some people have told me I am sexy. I'm not a size 4 like i was in high school, but I consider myself a voluptuous woman. And whoever says that most men who seek fat women to gain control of that woman are seriously disturbed. You're just creating another stereotype. It might be true in some cases, but hell, you find situations in every type of lifestyle. Gay men can get aids... but so do straight men and women.... you're merely observing the actions of those you probably know and not take into consideration those millions of other people who are in different situations. I have seen many of my friends, male and female, who are overweight, be in happy relationships because they are IN LOVE. There is such a thing as someone loving another because they love their personality.

Btw, just for the record, I have seen many "big men" and found them to be attractive. They might have beautiful eyes, or a fantastic smile, or have those big strong arms to wrap around someone and make them feel safe. They might have a great personality or a kickin sense of humour. Just cause they might have a size 40 or whatever waist, doesn't make them not attractive to others.

A heavyset man or woman can feel sexy, even if no one thinks or sees them that way. A sign of a confident man/woman is one that can see past that and not let their weight affect how they seem themselves.
