Suikoden III (God damnit!!!)

Post by Lohrno »

It was pretty good! I was playing it and got halfway through it, and I liked it save for a few things:

1) There were a few sections where if you are going from one small area to another, if you push the up button, the camera perspective will change, and it will keep running back and forth between the two areas.

2) Sometimes it's a little slow...

Other than that I liked it. I can't play anymore because it keeps freezing due to the disk having been scratched. (Mental note: Don't buy games used anymore.)

Oh well, I'm starting Dot Hack Infestation today.

I borrowed this from a friend I think, he said it was "awsome" and he does have good taste in video games.

Unfortunately after I booted it up and saw a picture of a duck wearing a helmet or something, I quickly lost interest for some reason.

I mean it really could have been a great game, but I was just not in the mood for that shit.

I'm so sick and tired with the "kiddie" characters RPG's have been adding lately.

I reccommend you stay way away from any Golden Sun games in that case. ;)

I haven't heard of Golden Sun....

Endless Saga had a squirrel, but that game sucked real bad so it never had a chance to piss me off because I quit after like 20 minutes.

I never really liked the moogle or chicabo characters in final fantasy games so much either.....but if the game is good enough I can ignore it. I just never use those characters.

It's just you know...it's a duck...they don't have opposable thumbs etc...no sharp fangs or claws...thier brain is the size of a peanutt. I don't see how they can really contribute to an epic battle to save the world or whatever.

The duck is actually kind of a hardened veteran soldier type of personality. (I think he's one of the cooler characters in the game...) Most of the other ducks act kind of stupid though. But there are many kids in that game. They're not so annoying though. One of the parties you play in the beginning has a womanizer and a drunkard. (although you are only told through dialogue =( );)

I'd say my least favorite characters there were Chris (I dont know why but I didn't like her much...), Kidd, and Lulu. Thomas and Cecile are kind of annoying too actually...

Golden Sun, the dialogue is so BAD, and everyone there acts like a kid...even old men. The game itself is actually kind of cool though, and that's why I play it...

His characer might be cool, but man....a duck?!?

Put the same dialogue in something more humanoid and I would have accepted it easier.
