Congratulations, Ogbar. I feel your pain. Turning 40 myself in 2 weeks.
Adex: You are absolutely right! You are as young as you act/feel...
However, turning 40 is teh sukc. Seems like I remember when I thought being 40 was OLD. When my dad turned 40, I was 17 and he sure acted old then.

Congrats Ogbar. Remember, you had two options. Turn 40 or die before you got that far.
My grandad came up with a great one concerning feeling old. At 70 something, he was visiting my parents on their 30th wedding anniversary and made the comment...
" I didn't feel old till my kids started getting their AARP cards in the mail."

Congratulations!

Grats Og : )
Just think, in Ancient Rome you'd be a freak of nature at 40. Average Lifespans were around 28-34 depending on your status etc.
On the other hand, I've seen a few articles about pushing our lifespans to the 120 mark.
Go Oggy go! ...tell me what you're eating to keep your teeth etc! : )

Grats, Oggie!!!!!
The sad part is that you'll never be as old as I am...I'll always be 2 years older than you.....
