I’m not sure who has heard about this and who hasn’t so I will reiterate. Balboa, Mikar, Neptunis, Orte, Zenadaho (non-Comp shammy) and myself were grouped in Bastion of Thunder on Sunday July 27th. We had spent a LOT of time and effort cutting through mobs and positioning ourselves, to get to a named… Oreen Wavecrasher, only to be Kill Stealed by another high level group with only ONE purpose in mind…. LOOT! I am not going to post everything that has taken’ place over the past few days, all I can say is I have exhausted all avenues that I know of except to inform friends, guildmates and THE PUBLIC!!

I’m not sure how I can explain how this has impacted my thoughts and my way of thinking (while playing) these past few days… I scrutinize everyone now, I am extremely wary of people who are (ANONYMOUS), I do a /guildstatus on almost everyone I target. I look for these cheap bastards who stole the ‘fun’ on every corner. I wonder just ‘who’ is waiting around the corner to steal from my friends and myself yet again.

Here is what happened in a Nutshell (I have a good 6-8 pages of just OUR battle spam, and discussions with various Guides and GMs if you want more details, send me your e-mail)… I’ll send everything I have.

The fight lasted 8 mins 25 secs. From start to finish
7 mins 22 secs into the fight they mem-blurred the mob for the 1st time
*7 mins 30 secs into the fight they mem-blurred the mob for the 2nd time
*at this point, all the damage we did in the past 7+ minutes was negated (annulled, cancelled, invalid, null and void)

Please keep in mind that it’s the principle of this that is getting me so dang upset not the dang loot…. I am doing this to make YOU more aware… Don’t assume that others (outside your group) are ‘just helping’…. Hell, don’t assume anything! And for goodness sakes, if you even THINK someone may KS you, take screen shots and keep doing the dang /report command on the various players!!! And add those names to your ‘so called friends list’, it may help you (or someone else some day).

I was trying to have faith in the ‘system’ and in SOE to do the right thing and keep EQ a ‘mostly’ honest okay… mostly above board playground … I guess I should have known better, why would they cut off their nose(s) to spite their face(s)? Sigh I guess I’m a bit disillusioned at the moment, I tried to have faith in the ‘system’, but it was crushed. I have spent a good deal of time these past 3 days trying to get as much info as possible, to no avail. I have a feeling that IF this is the way things will be then Kiiyara and friends might not be around too much longer. I’m not so sure I want to line their pockets anymore with my 2 accounts, coz it’s bad enough having to put up with other high/low end BS, this is just total crap!! That ‘if’ you don’t happen to do a dang /report on so and so while fighting a mob and trying to figure out wtf is going on at the same time then you are S.K.R.E.W.E.D!!!

p.s. Just to let you all know, I have received quite a few tells from people who have been KS'd by these same people and that they have been petitioned repeatedly. I also found out that Buffi is an officer and Naughtie is the Guild Leader of Seekers of Lore.

Let me once again reiterate the NAMES to look out for: Naughtie, Buffi, Neor, Drizzer, Managia, Frostkin, Haters and Shyness. If you know of anymore... by all means post them!!

You did everything you could think of to do and yes /report is the only evidence allowed since it puts all what the person you are reporting about the spells cast etc into the database and cant be messed with unlike screenshots and logs, the only proof sony allows which sucks but makes sense. Also it is to cover their butts for legal action. Just keep your chin up. And the saying goes what goes around comes around. Good Luck

Seekers of Lore has been doing this for the longest time. They are ALWAYS anon, and they have been petitioned COUNTLESS times over the past what... 2 years is it?... but SoE refuses to do anything about it.

It's time to do the Lodi stunt. This worked when they were KSing lodi many months ago... a bunch of people on the server, (who no doubt have encountered these assholes), banded together for every lodi spawn time to KS from Seekers. After a few times Seekers gave up and moved on to some other mob.

There was a thread on it back when it was going on. I'll try and find it.

Yes, they are known to be a bad bunch. Notorious for trains and KS. Those are some of the worst players on the server....I have been present a few times when thier names were submitted in petitions, and yet nothing is done about them.

Your just going to have to let it go.....you can get revenge at a later date via a less legit method....you already know the basics of how customer service works by now. I can't guarantee you will get off scott-free but....chances are you will.
