Damn. I just posted something in my other thread about SWAT but I forgot the title. The previews look really cool.

Oh and Kev...Packers kicked yer Falcons ass. Granted it was more of "My 3-4th string is better than your 3-4th string". Vick was kicking our asses.

I dont like american football at all...but ok bubba. Maybe you confused my name with Kevian? Happens sometimes, he is a half-elven bard just like I was too. Go falcons!!..?(im not sure what city they are from though lol)

Anyhow, im pretty excited for this movie. Desperado was one of my favorite action flicks and this has johnny depp who is one of my favorite actors. And Salma Hayek is in it. Nudge nudge, wink wink...say no more.

Damn Kev, my mistake. Sorry about that. I guess what threw me was the red names and similar style. I tend to rush when I type and forget to pay attention to details.

So that earlier statement about the Falcons...HA HA SHANTER!

Oh about Selma I am total agreement there as I think the rest of the Male population of VV.

If this is the next movie in this series it is actually the 3rd movie. The first one was El Mariachi and the second being Desperado. Both good flicks so I'll be looking forward to this :)

Even tho I am a chick, I'm gonna say Selma is one of the sexiest women out there.

Just downloaded and watched this. Not the best movie, but not the worst. The action scenes were fucking stupid and lacked anything that resembled reality. Not in a Matrix way, but in a "They can't hit shit with a hail of bullets, but I'm a fucking marksman with my sawed-off" kind of way. Johnny Depp (as expected) saves this movie from being total shit. He was totally fucking genious.

This is Rodriguez's answer to the 'Fistful' series.

El Mariachi was pretty damn good.

So it's really not a whole lot different from Desperado? Or is it more blatant in this film? I loved El Mariachi and Desperado and it would suck if this one didn't live up :(
Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong:
THIS is the way the world ends.

Johnny Depp alone makes it contend with Desparado. But the action does not. I felt like I was watching some cheesy 80's action movie. The good thing, however, is that it doesn't have many special effects, like slow mo, etc. Only thing special is Antonio's ability to twirl like a ballerina 10 feet in the air shooting his sawed-off hitting everyone and remaining unscathed.
