I have to use this 56k modem until my cable gets fixed.

I think lightning fucked up the line or something, but i can barely send/recieve packets using the cable connection, and it is hard for the modem to maintain an IP adress. Its not the router/modem/router cords etc, its something in the cable line...or mayb it is the modem, pfft who knows.

I have found myself racing webpages....example, Ill go to lets say VVboards. ill type in the URL, and then ill run downstairs and grab a dr pepper and try and get back up here b4 it loads up.... score is:

damnit, that must suck but some of us are stuck with 56k all the time and a comp that won't even run EQ
