I know there will be more classes than what they have announced at this time, but right now, I'm thinking about starting either a human mage or a night elf druid (or both!).
They haven't announced it, but I'm sure there will be a priest class for the human/dorf/elf faction. Speculation runs wild on the hive of stupid that is the b.net forums, but the leading candidates for the next race are trolls and the naga (snake-dudes a la shissar except aquatic instead of lunar).

Cartoony graphics seem ok for a bit. 3 spells would put me to sleep faster than Malos, Turgurs, Quiescence....hey wait a second, I only use 3 spells in EQ!
The next race I want to see is high elves ( or blood elves... ). I'm not going to play a damn treehugger to be an elf... Hell, if dorfs can be, I'll be a dorf mage ( atm too lazy to look it up ).

I'd rather hear about EQ flames, than a game thats 20 years from comming out to be honest. Blizzard is milking the crowd. We ALL know they arent very speedy on releases, no reason to get all worked out over something that may not come out for a year or so.
