Just heard it on the Daily Buzz that Dr. Octupus is going to be the main bad guy. They even had a poster. Very cool.

The first Spiderman was good. Part of the reason it was enjoyable was covering the origins of spiderman. I hope they find something interesting as a sub plot for the sequel to keep my attention.

I think it is too early for Venom. Dr. Octopus was a good sound choice.

Gads, Venom woulda been the Sheeeit!! He's gotta be my favorite Bad guy/Hero. but yea this would have been a bit early to bring him in. I just hope they don't make the same mistake as Batman... killing the bad guys.

Yeah my favorite part of the first spiderman was when he was learning about his new abilities for the first time.

I'll see this with hope that they added a nice sub plot, well actually I'll see it regardless heh, even if people say it sucks.

Now I wasn't much into comics, I know who doctor octopus was, although I think wasn't he fat in the comic? Anyway the nice thing about this villan is besides the fact he had 4 mechanical arms, I remember nothing about him, so it will be a nice suprise.

I vaguely remember venom too, some space alien goop that was part of spidermans new suit or something, didn't it give birth to spawn?

Please correct me if I'm wrong on either, like I said, I didn't follow comics, I had friends that did, and they talked about them non-stop, but I wasn't into them myself.

I think I remember reading somewhere that they don't have any intention of doing Venom inthe movies, atleast partly because if they do Venom they pretty much have to do Carnage. Plus the Black Suit story is pretty involved and it is hard to imagine them doing it justice in a 2 hours movie, just my opinion.
