Maybe your thinking of Resident Evil: the movie? It had a scene at the very end where the city was in ruins. It cut to a newspaper that had the headlines "The dead walk..." or something like that.. probably only "good" part in the movie other than that laser cutup/massacre scene IMO.

*edit* spelling..

But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

it wasnt a real article.

it was somebody taking advantage of the way CNN inserts news items into the webpages to spoof a news item and make it appear as if it was coming from a CNN address.

It was basically a story about dead people coming back to life or something.

it could have been funnier.

Yeah, totally fake, but funny as hell. Total spoof of Night of the Living Dead.

Speaking of Resident Evil...

Didnt that laser cut scene remind anyone of The Cube?

If you havent seen it yet its definitely worth a rental. Low budget sci-fi horror in the same realm as a good Twilight Zone or Outer Limits show.

Is that the film were they're all talking one minute and they find out one of them is "The Ren" and then in about 25 seconds after that he gets his face melted off by acid?
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

Haven't seen Resident Evil yet, but then I probably won't. Heard it's not a very good movie. Follows the tradition of turning a game into a movie, the normally suck... bad :)

Loved the Cube. Yeah that scene made me think of the Cube right away. Though in the Cube it was wire I believe. Personally I liked Resident Evil and I am eagerly awaiting the sequel.
