If this was a black or hispanic girl being beaten. It would have made news all over the US. I didnt see it till i stumbled over it on a message board from Ohio.

Of course I bet the white girl showed them. She must have told them they had it easy since Hitler didnt attack Spain or something. Either that or they tracked down her great great great grandmother's history who had a spanish slave. So of course she deserved it,since she is white and nothing like that really happens.

im suprised this didnt make big news, would of easily gotten media coverage and plenty of ratings for news channels. Maybe they got payed off to keep it down?

a) not every hate crime commited is printed in the news. if it was there would be dozens of articles a day in every newspaper in the united states.

b) world net daily is a far right racist white asshole rag of a news source. they exists solely to sell ann coulter books and stupid christian propaganda.

First of I don't care what race someone is if they are thugs they should be punished, this also goes for the senior girls that assaulted the junior girls at that flag football game back a few weeks ago. They should also charge their parents for negligence, but they won't people today have no sense of responsibility to anyone but themselves.

I really don't see what Spain has to do with Americans who are of hispanic decent. Most hispanics don't identify with Spain, plus the fact that the Spanish were the biggest slave traders in the world.

I put the blame for this solely on the individuals that committed the act and their parents who did a lousy job of teaching them right from wrong. This again has nothing to do with race. Parents whether they are white, black, hispanic or whatever are failing miserably today. Is this a hate crime? Yes it is they assaulted the girl because of her race, that's wrong no matter how you look at it.

Sorry your post did not sound sarcastic, just ignorant of fact. If you wanted sarcasm toward the fact that the story was not on any major news outlets, I would have written something along the lines of "You know I bet if she went missing they would be airing a story on her every half hour." Since most news organizations tend to report about every missing white girl in the U.S.
