MX 1000 is my favorite for the shape and buttons of the mouse. The feet are too small though Winnow is right. I found I had to constantly clean the dust off the feet, or it didn't "glide" to my satisfaction... but I'm anal about that I guess. They wear down kinda fast too. I switched to a ...

Gotta be ergo for me, but this one might be nice for a dedicated media center pc or something. I've got the Microsoft 4000 linked above and its fantastic. I know what you mean about squeaky Microsoft keyboards, my previous one was like that, but the 4000 is very solid. I'll stick with logitech for m...

Paint, yes. Ultra pure flat white, with ultra pure flat black surround (actually the rest of the wall is black.) There are supposed to be some mixtures of paint that are better, but I'm planning to use the screen so I didn't spend too much time researching. The black is still a little reflective as ...

I just got a Z4 from projectorpeople.com as well under this same deal. It really is a great bargain when you throw in the lamp and screen. This is my first projector and the screen is amazing. I predict this does not do well. It's going to be hard to dethone or even compete with the big 3 (Yahoo, MSN, AOL) when they already have all the features you want, all your friends are already on them, and the 3rd party clients work just fine with them (Trillian rocks...)
