Any Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly Fans About?

Looks like both bands are going to be playing in Portland late Sept and early Oct. I plan on going to both shows, if possible. Both bands are an interesting mix of traditional Irish drinking songs, Irish folk and a splash of punkrock. Good times, and I certainly enjoy their CDs. I imagine that one or both will be great shows live.

Any fans of either band? I am relatively new to their wor, and am interested to hear how they are live.

Xou turned me on to both of these bands. He's a pretty big fan and went to see Flogging Molly this last year when they were in Dallas (I had to work and couldn't go ><).

Anyways, maybe he'll chime in for you. Or PM or whatnot on any specific questions...but he said, "GO!" when I mentioned it to him.

I seem to have an annual tradition where I plan on seeing Flogging Mollys when they are in town, and then forgetting. =/

Was listening to the new(ish) NOFX live CD the other day and noticed the 'Mollys guy playing accordian on one of the songs.
