female humans instinctually want to be provided for via thousands of years of behavioral conditioning. that includes where we want to be taken.
You are SO right! Screw equal rights! How could thousands of years of behavioral conditioning be wrong? Why have women been fighting for equality anyway? Screw ME having any say in my relationship or life. I want to be provided for, I don't want to make decisions - I want to be a mindless moron!

If a man tried to treat me like that I'd kick his ass to the curb faster than he could blink. My relationship is built on trust, attraction, friendship and equality. I clean the house, he does the laundry and we pick the restaurant.

Women aren't to blame! It's all our fault as men. Well, it should be our fault, that's why women never like to pick places to go or things to do (besides shopping). They want to be able to blame the guy in case it isn't up to their expectations.

*cough*

Ok, frankly, I don't really care who picks what where. I don't mind picking what to do or where to go most of the time, but there are some times I get frustrated as hell that I can't get a decision out of a woman. I'll even narrow it down to two or three choices and it is still like pulling teeth to get a simple choice. Sometimes guys just want to kick back and let a woman choose where to go. Is that totally incomprehensible to a woman? Yes, I'm being overly general here, so sue me.

yeah "I don't know" is a really complex mind game that is being played on you.
Why is "I don't care" any more difficult to get out?

Why would you take the chance of being misunderstood?

WHY THE FUCK DO WOMEN HAVE TO TRY AND COMPLICATE THE SIMPLEST FUCKING THINGS!!!!!

it is only complicated if the woman you are talking to is a man.

it is really simple. she doesnt know where she wants to go eat.

i do know where i want to eat, and if that is met w/ disdain, i have several other good alternates at the tip of my toungue right now.

OK this was all conducted in 5 seconds:

Mrs. V: i dont know
V: taka
Mrs V: no sushi
V: Soto Soto
Mrs V: i'm not dressed well enough
V: (ok this is like 10 seconds) (20)

(no big deal at a traffic light anyways...change radio station)

V: Surin
Mrs V: i said no sushi
V: Sato?
Mrs V: grrrrrrr
V: (like 45 seconds now?)

V: Soto Soto
Mrs V: OK

bang 1 minute and i get to go to one of my favorite restaurants. its easy! =)

Hooray, my "Men" thread is longer and more flame filled than Drolgin's "Women" thread.

My work here is done!

Yeah fight the power sister.

What the fuck did anything I said have to do with gender equality?

Aside from the fact that there is no gender equality and will never be gender equality. Males and females aren't equal, they're different. Men are stronger and faster. Men are linear thinkers and women are abstract. Men are governed by logic and women by emotion. Men and women are different in so many different ways that the very idea of gender equality in a broad sense is a laughable fantasy brought around by stupid women with a poorly conceived notion that they are inferior. Maybe socially women are treated as inferiors but that has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.

Take your whiny little fucking boring feminazi rant and shove it up your ass.

Heh - I always say "I don't know" to give my hubby a chance to pick something he wants to eat. If he made me decide I would always pick the exact same place ... one that I know he isn't that thrilled with but happens to be one of my favorites.

I think me and my ex had that <where do you want to eat> conver one time.
He stated that he preferred I pick. Cool, no problem. No matter where we went he ordered a hamburger anyway.
I find it hard to imagine that picking a place to go to eat, or what movie to go see would be a big problem for people. It's one meal, one movie, one video. There will be others.
