I've never played the campaign, I just get sucked into Verus games w/ friends from EQ2.

L4D is a piss poor single player game Siji. the value comes entirely from the multiplayer experience

I'm still enjoying L4D on Steam as "siln". I got the game the weekend it was half price. I've actually been playing with my wife's father, and his buddy who is in his 70s. It makes for a hilarious dynamic, but we only play on Normal difficulty. I only play Versus about once a week. It's only fun with friends, or at least people you sorta know.

I now own this for both my new PC (yay) and my 360 and I'm still addicted to it..

Siji, if you want a challenge, play the campaign on expert.. Or do versus.. the versus mode is what makes the game.

Fair - DLC comes out later this month. New mode, another map for versus.

Yeah the bash cool down sucked something awful and im hoping they'll realize it was a mistake and remove it.. versus still rocks though... +25 hunter pounces ftw.

Haha, before the bash cooldown, all I heard were complaints that bash didn't have a cooldown. I haven't played since they put it in, how long is it?

after numerous survival matches, i have formulated a fundamental law.. transcribed as follows:

The likeliness of a gas can being prematurely detonated by the accidental discharge of a firearm is inversely proportional to the amount of time spent organizing all gas cans prior to initiating the horde, and directly proportional to my personal proximity to said gas can at the time of the accidental explosion.
