On a serious note Kal. I think you have a good heart on the sex ed. stuff....You are just wrong about the age. At that age the childs mind is not developed enough for the low qualified people the governement will have or the teachers to teach this to this age of child.

It could seriously cause a increase in the problem among peers or possible sexual predators that become sexual predators because the child is playing don't touch naughty with them or the child talking about bad touch and that sicko showing them and saying there teaching them and keeps it hidden. These are all serious issues you must discuss when dealing with children this age. The child at this age maynot know what bad is and may think bad is laugh or fun because they were being funny, because they are so innocent in thought at this age. A teacher or a normal gov't official is not qualified for these teaching methods at this age. And if there is a way without exposing the innocent minds to these teachings to figuring out who the children are who these terrible things happen too Im all for. You just don't want to be part of something that can possibly cause a increase in something so terrible.

Sirton, I'm not talking a comprehensive unit taking three weeks to teach. It would be a simple matter of bringing in a doctor, letting them talk to the kids about good touch bad touch (in a similar way that we teach kids about strangers), and then we're done. It would take twenty minutes tops. And then they're back to learning. It would be a very small lesson, but perhaps it would jump to a kid's memory if something happened to them and they would know to report it to their teacher. Hell, everything else we do in kindergarten is social conditioning. Why not condition them to report sexual molestation as well?
