Is the application in NYC for absentee ballot.

So I write in that I'm on vacation (one of the valid reasons), have my drinking buddy sign the witness mark (no where does it say it needs to be certified that I can tell), and bam, I get an absentee ballot.

Wow. That's scary. That's a big loophole there that needs to be closed.

You don't find it scary that it is apparently very easy to obtain an absentee ballot? Seems to me it could be a potentially easy way to commit voter fraud.

How difficult should it be for an American to vote? It's our right as Americans. It shouldn't be a very complicated procedure. It doesn't scare me that someone can easily obtain an absentee ballot, and vote. It doesn't scare me that someone can use their most recent utility bill as proof of who they are in order to vote.

Person A: Hey man, let me get your cell phone bill.

Person B: Why? Are you gonna to pay it?

Person A: No man, I just wanna vote, and I can't find my ID.
Make love, fuck war, peace will save us.

I don't really see why it should be any more scary this election cycle than it ALWAYS HAS BEEN. It's not like anyone in the last, let's say 2, election cycles has been elected under any suspicious means.

I don't disagree with you. Just because it has happened before doesn't make it right. I don't care what party benefits from such a practice. I'd like to see voter fraud of any kind lessened.
