There was a very poor Captain America movie in the 90s. This was really awful and the director should of been fired for not catching some pretty big flaws. (cut on his right shoulder moves to the left side, then back again between scenes)

Is it just me or have they tried to keep the villan and hero power explainations down to earth and somewhat realistic in the movies?

Venom originated as a symbiot in secret wars to my knowledge.. guessing they would have to change that story pretty much.

I think they may keep to the 90's cartoon explanation for Venom. They're already established that John Jameson's son was an astronaut it would work as something coming from space.

Venom is gonna be hard to pull off though. Seems like they're re-using similar technology to what they used in spawn when he suits up.

That clip of "Venom" transforming is an edited clip from the Spawn movie. The texturing of the costume, the shape of the white eye area, and the burnt and disfigured face underneath the morphing costume is exactly what Spawn looked like in that movie. They edited in the mouth to make it look like Venom. If you take it into a picture viewer and look at it frame by frame it's fairly obvious it has been edited.

The Spidey 3-"trailer" is made by a fellow combining clips from Underworld 1(Fanged mouth), Mummy (sand), earlier Spidey movies and Spawn!
