Lotsa people "retiring".

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Well, I quit a long time ago. Dont know the date for sure, but it was before SoL. Do I regret quiting EQ? yup ) I dont really miss the game, but I certainly miss the people. I have so many wonderful memories of EQ and the friends I made.

I cant wait for a decent online game to come out that pulls players from EQ. I think its the people that make the online game great, not so much the gameplay. I played Daoc for a couple of months (sparty lvl 50 luri ranger =), but that got boring as hell.

Anyways, for now I'll just keep plugging away at my consoles, and continue to be patient until that next big game comes out =)

If my hand had 6 fingers, then I couldnt steal. It just wouldnt make sense.

My namer is spartry

A snip from Tork's latest post on LoS's front page, I kinda liked it:
What's next, who can say for certain, but if anything MMORPG's, for all their problems, addiction, and Crying Game surprises, have brought together a tremendous number of people and legitimized the nature of net friendships.
IT'S HARD TO PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT; SOMETHING IS WRONG

I just came back to EQ after a 10 month heitis. It appears that you never truely quit EQ. It's all about counting the months you've been away and counting how many more till you come back. YOU ADDICTS!

Problem with net friendships are when your car breaks down, you can't call your "net-friend" from Alaska to pick you up.
