Kyoukan- Just a note about who to trust- Sexual stuff hasnt gotten the same share of research etc over the years as other medical areas, for fairly obvious (and silly) prudish reasons. As a result considerably more old wives tales, silly notions, and medieval (Well, 19th century anyway) ideas survive in the crotch-related area of medical science than any other, so its always a good idea to get second opinions on stuff like that and to think it through yourself before taking it to heart. Circumscision was recommended for centuries because foreskins were deemed unhealthy (cleanliness is a different issue), and its only been in the last few years that thats actually been the subject of formal studies, whose results debunk that idea. Another one I liked, from my sister with a PhD in genetics, is that a lot of doctors recommended that pregnant women rub their nipples with steel wool or similar items "to toughen their nipples in preperation for nursing", up until about 5 years ago. Ouchie. And thats "medical" advice, from real doctors. So second opinions are a good thing when it comes to medical opinions regarding non-internal crotch-area questions, especially if it involves modifying anything that mother nature gives everyone and that hasnt broken. Another 2-3 generations and it probably wont be a problem anymore as sexual openess becomes more ingrained in society, but for right now...
Just a thought, from my experience.

As some people have commented before, it's all about the upkeep. All I can tell you from a woman's perspective, that after the first couple of "regrowths," you just don't notice it anymore. Just don't shave every day, cause you can cause some major rashing, even if you use lotions and shaving gels.
I dated a guy that shaved completely, and I can tell you one thing. It didn't really matter that he was shaved, cause he wasn't all that great in bed anyway.

Zoe: No one's gonna force you to go, Jayne. As has been stated -- this job's strictly speculative.
Jayne: Good. Cause I don't know these folks, don't much care to.
Mal: They're whores.
Jayne: I'm in.

The ultimate solution for me has been to use OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of Neutrogena and the electric hair remover from Epilady. Lasts forever so no daily maintenance. I tried using Nads but that shit is crap.

Epilady = ouch
Tried it back in the 80's when it came out. It seems more painful on the lower legs than waxing (the only place I'll wax) only because it seems to go quicker with waxing.
The obsession for hair removal in our culture seems so misguided if you think about it objectively. I certainly don't have smooth legs everyday. I only shave if I'm wearing a skirt, shorts or swimsuit, something where the leg hair shows, and I do that more for other people than myself.
Why are we so shallow?
