Somewhere Bernard Goldberg is beating off while giggling hysterically.

Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep.

people at CBS need to be fires over this. especially for contacting the kerry campaign.

Rather has done many things in the past that are prohibited at my company (speaking at a DNC fundraiser). for instance anybody with any news responsibility at my company is prohibited from making campaign contributions of any kind. now that being said, CBS may have the same standards and practices, but Rather is simply powerful enough to avoid such regulation.

That unfortunately can happen in any large organization.

CBS Cancels Wednesday '60 Minutes' By DAVID BAUDER, AP Television Writer
Wed May 18, 10:00 AM ET

NEW YORK - CBS said Wednesday it is cancelling the Wednesday edition of "60 Minutes," insisting the decision was made because of poor ratings and not last fall's ill-fated story about President Bush's military service.
