I realize this all boils down to the fact that he repeatedly broke the rules and didn't even stop once warned (I assume he got PMed), but just look at the circumstances.

Look, I hate him as much as anyone here, but that is pretty weak. Its not like Dregor and his pals are incapable of flaming him into a short term self imposed exile again either.
