Lets make some incontrovertible statements shall we?

1. Israel is a nation surrounded by enemies.
2. Israel is a nation that has been victimized over and over by terrorist and their acts of barbarism.
3. Israel is home to a people that have suffered tremendously throughout history.

Someone had to stand up and defend the defenceless, enter the USA.

If the Terrorists spent half the money and half the time on education and rebuilding that part of the world there would exist a peaceful and hopeful nation where terror and oppression of their own populace exists today.

Your statement that the USA supports atrocities committed by Israel is making a statement by ommission. That statement is that Israel is victimizing a laudable society or culture that has turned to inhuman violence as its only answer to the Israeli problem. Hence the small leap that you were/are defending the terrorist groups that populate that area of the mideast. Apologies if I read that wrong. The deaths of innocents will continue on both sides of this conflict, the presence of the USA has largely reduced the death toll by evening the odds. The Israeli response if of necessity not choice.

Now back to the french

huh? Florida is not exactly the engine of the American economy...

actually the UN mandate for that miltary operation in 1991 was expressly to liberate Kuwait. It did not call for a regime change in Iraq.

as for the Israeli thing...both sides have committed many terrorist acts. The difference is that when done by the Israeli army they can be termed "military incursions".

Just last year the Israeli government was bulldozing apartment complexes occupied by Palestinians in order to build settlements for more European Jews to live in.

The military operations in several cities over the past year have done nothing but destroy civic infrastructure for regular Palestinian people. Tearing up streets and ripping out sewage systems in a town is not "destroying the infrastructure for Terror", it is destroying the infrastructure for peace.

Yassir Arafat likely has supported terrorism in the past and may still. Sharon has himself led a military operation as a corporal in the Israeli army (in the 50s) where he killed 50 Palestian civilians (women and children in that number) in response to some sort of terrorist attack on a military outpost.

The two people are extremists and the bullshit that they have both pushed for in the last year or so have done nothing but created a political environment where people are forced to choose between polar opposites, because one of the many casualties of the conflict has been moderate political policies which pushed for increased cooperation between the sides.

To act like either side is "righteous" is ridiculous. They are both equally discpicable in my view. (the politicians, not the people they represent).

Okay if you think the U.S. is so bad...

If you remember right, i'm sure most everyone in the world heard the news of the Twin Tower Terror incident on September 11th, 2001. In order to STOP terror we have people looking for that ass right now.

Remember american government changes its leaders appx every 4 years unless the president gets elected to a second term. Read the American Constitution sometime. I mean who else could have such a strong governement off of a 220 year old piece of paper? Those guys were thinkin'!
