have to add Boys of summer by Don Henley and Take my breath away by Berlin

and althought I cringe at the thought, who can forget big breasted squeeky voiced Samantha Fox with her Boys Boys Boys and other stuff, she was all over radios in Europe back in the mid 80's

Lets just go ahead and say THE best album of the 80's thanks.

For me though, I would say How Soon is Now by The Smiths is the quintessential 80's song.
