I predict gas will hit a high of at least $6.25 by the end of the year.
Saw $2.39/gallon today, and dropping.
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Oil fell 5 percent to $56 a barrel on Wednesday as the U.S. government hacked its global demand growth forecast again due to the slumping global economy.
OPEC officials, concerned about the oil's steep drop from record highs over $147 a barrel per day (bpd) in July, said the cartel could possibly decide by the end of the month to cut production again to raise prices.
U.S. crude fell $3.17 to settle at $56.16 a barrel, the lowest settlement since Jan. 29, 2007. London Brent crude traded down $3.34 to settle at $52.37 a barrel.

I pay the highest tax burden rate in the whole damb country. not just gas but property tax, school tax = $3000 tax per year per 100k acessed value. ( acessed = 1 to 1 ) We don't have a housing crisus here since taxes were so high, house values didn't rocket up like most of the country. ( also no jobs , they left in the 70s I hear.) I've owned my home for 15 years now and it's gone up in value a whopping ...................................................... 20%. not the 500% that much of the country saw in that time ( before the crash ) So floks that lost 40% ( to 300% increase ) can kiss my ass. If they borrowed 100k to have granat shrines for a bathroom , tuff shit. If they borrowed on the one house to get no money down, low intrest Variable loans to by 2 more houses, they deserve to lose their primary house also. ( I do feel poorly for some that with good intentions bought their first home and are now biting it, but they should have known something is not right about buying a home that cost 10 to 20 times annual income )
Cano, it may have been a good thing that you had crappy credit 2 years ago :0
Meanwhile with the Canadian exchange rate back down, I've seen a case of LaBatts Blue for $13.
Sorry no time for spell checker, have to hit the beer store!
Pride of nationality depends not on ignorance of other nations, but on ignorance of one's own.
It's amazing how much of an impact the savings on gas is having on me. I simply have more disposable income. I'm buying more games and movies than I have in months. It's especially nice this time of year with Xmas and also having to heat our home for winter.
The two stations nearest my house dropped to 1.88 (Citgo) and 1.89 (Exxon) for regular unleaded yesterday. It's the first time I've filled up for under 30 bucks in ages.
