For the 100th time, it was in haste and disgust over the beheadings. I made the mistake of watching one of the first beheadings. I was so sick, disgusted and angry after watching that. You claim the US has no chance of having peace in the middle east because me, Midnyte, Gino Marotto, has not spent the time to research the history of the conflict between Israel and Palestine? If you are going to call him racist then you need to at least cite where he's called someone a a nigger, sand nigger, wap, slant eye, gook, chink, spic, etc... or at least demonstrated racist or stereotypical slurs dealing with the color of skin.

I personally think he's an idiot who wasn't raised properly and is surrounding himself with a nice wall of intolerance.

Actually I don't think he's an idiot because he has the ability to construct a sentence with proper grammar. He also has the ability to formulate an opinion. So I will pull my idiot statement and just lable him a product of his environment of intolerance. His brain isn't flawed just his logic. When he was raised perhaps he was taught that whitey is smarter than blackie or that mr. arab hates jesus and is evil or perhaps them jewboys are a bunch of cheap non-pig eatting wanna-be whites. I mean can you really fault a man for being raised that way?

I don't think Major Umbach deserved anything more than he got, which was an "encouraged" retirement. His crime was he was guilty of not being able to control his wingman. He was supposedly the senior of the two so his leadership did fail, but he didn't fire.

Major Schmidt disobeyed an order. Being grounded and a fine seem a little light considering the consequences of that are 4 good men dead and several other wounded. If the roles were reversed, don't tell me Americans would be happy with that type of verdict either. I hope Schmidt sees the pictures of those faces in his dreams for a long time.

As for Cartalas, I've rediscovered there is no reason to keep him off ignore, and I do hope his genes are elminated from the pool before they do any more damage.
