I would highly doubt 38 in a row. I have played as a sniper quite a bit since the first days of exclusive beta and would consider myself quite good at it. I can hit moving targets at maximum range yada yada yada. I have never racked up anything even remotely resembling that kind of streak. I have even run out of ammo and gone back to reload and still not come close to that. I would say a maximum of *maybe* 15 or so in the greatest of spots. Working with Homercles (who also is a sniper) I don't think we have racked up 38 straight as a team on our best outing ever.

Now as to people who have bad leaders and have to solo to do anything. I ask you this....what the fuck are you there for? If you are not having fun in PS, then you need to jump ship and play with some ass kickers in Wetworks.

My top kill streak so far is 24.

Fly a reaver to a tower and blast some momos, get out and blast some more with your cycler on your way to spawn, then hack the term and get into your MAX suit and have some fun!

You know, saying Aranuil is a bad leader is bullshit. He is not, I know this and went to far with responding to his "You couldn't have done this" (Same goes with cheater, which I know he is not). Frankly, I do not like squading because people are idiots, pure and simple, and yeah, they are in proliferation in the NC.
I do not think this is the case with Wetworks, but a) I do not know how to change from NC to TR if I wanted to and b) after this thread I doubt I would be welcome there Kil.

you have to delete all your characters and then go back to the main login page and then create character and it will ask you what faction you want to be in.

Well, first of all, I kinda like to stay at BR10 rather than start over, even though its easier now with the VR exp back up... But the reason I stay with the outfit, is mostly cause I don't care enough to leave it, I enjoy myself when I log on and solo, and I never said I wasn't having fun in Planetside, the game owns. I don't play enough to get into a squad usually, usually on for 2 hours total in 2 days until things get a little less busy. Squads take time...

Bullshit. Squads take no time whatsoever. At least not in our outfit. People come and go at will, including me. Hell today I was in a squad for 15 minutes before logging.

Back in beta with the leet inf suit I think my best was like 8 or 9 in a row. Snuck up unto a defended wall and killed quite a few who weren't looking, and lived awhile after. 38 is a bit excessive though.

38 out of 96 kills in one go is even more "a lot"

I probably missed it, but I don't remember it being said that he didn't loot other snipers corpses for more ammo. Snipers tend to go for similar ground, and when I played a sniper I did find enemies nearby to pick off and loot occasionally, and they had tonnes of ammo on them.

The beauty of sniping with Advanced Targeting is that a sniper round does aroun 90 health dmg, and with AT you can see who is damaged and pick them off with one shot, not two.

That being said -- Wetworks is a great little outfit. Some of the better players on the server are in it, I believe. I am not one of the better players, but I get to play with them and watch them work - while I get killed and they don't.

Aran - despite his commentary on this thread, which I personally view as more inflammatory that is necessary (yes, it's VV, but it is also Planetside, so old hatreds should probably be put aside....) -- is a very good PS leader. I respect him, and follow his lead, happily. We have a lot of fun playing this new game.

Acies, if you had a 38 kill run - hats off.

I have about 300-375 kills, I don't look that often, despite my incessant "I KEEELED somebody!!!" cries on Ventrilo

. Of those, some points stick out for me.

I got 16 in one go by blowing up and ams with my reaver -- they were stacked up trying to get equipped when I found it and unloaded a full round of rockets at close range.

I play late nights, and I love getting kills. I got 12 3 nights ago when I saw "the new conglomerate has hacked into suchandsuch" -- I made a waypoint on the vehicle pad, and cruised in from long range targetting in. Put two full loads of rockets in the air from extended range before they started hitting -- again, they were stacked up. Together, I could have had 30 kills in one reaver loadout

Hell, I'll get random invites to squads. If my outfit's squad is full (we're a small outfit), then I'll take randoms. Easy come, easy go really.

Not anymore for me.... If I can't get an outfit group, Im duoing with Statx. Fuck this server and all the fricking zergfest newbies.. Everytime I join some other squad, We're hacking a base with no ant inc or some jackass is driving us off a cliff into a lake and other various retarded situations. No more for me.... VVetworks or Solo prz.

**EDIT** Btw, if you want to Instant Action with just a few friend, if you all hit instant action at the same time, 95% you end up at the same place.

I don't bother running with other squads. If we do not have a squad already on for Wetworks, I let people know where I am headed and I start one. If we have a full squad already running, I go solo at the same bases our other squad is at and start the second. I can do better with racking up kills soloing than getting smoked with a squad of numnuts.

As for Acies, you NC jackhammering penix whore, you would be better off deleting (after bringing us oodles of jackhammers to stow in the lockers) and restarting as a TR and playing with us. You will reach the level you are at now in about 3 days and I can guarantee you will learn what ass raping is about.

The one thing you should know about Aranuil by now is that he LOVES to argue on here. It is like a pastime for him...as golf or internet porn would be to some of us. He likes it...hell I do too most of the time. How many flamefests have I been in with Salis, Kyoukan, etc on here? It doesn't translate across into the game when you are worrying more about causing the NC and VS to jump up and down screaming at their monitors as we rip their ass off each continent forcefully. I have yet to see any of the inter-outfit squabbles with our group as you would see non-stop in EQ guilds. No loot means no loot whores.

A surging infiltrator can hack a lot of towers very fast. Strategically, they are just emergency spawn points if a zerghoard wipes out all spawn tubes and AMSs in an area, but from a warrior's standpoint it is very childish. I call it Vanu Strategy Tactic Number 1.
